•Student HandbookA valuable resource

• POSITIVE Support

• Gives students a sense of accomplishment.

• Eases the tension between students whenever they do make mistakes.

• Redirection is received better and improves behavior awareness.

• NEGATIVE infractions

• Lowers self-esteem• Makes them feel that their

situation is hopeless.• No sense of proving others

wrong. • You’re BAD, BAD, BAD!!

•Positive versus NegativeWhat is our focus?

• A weekly power sheet will be given to each student.

• Students are responsible for handing in their POWERsheet to each teacher.

• Each class period teachers will fill out students POWERsheets.

• Students can earn 0-10 points for every class period.

• Points are awarded based on

• Dress code• Staying on task• Being on time• Citizenship

•Weekly POWER SheetsGive them the POWER!

The POWERsheets are a way for students to track their behavior. They can see what areas they need to work on and in which class.

Based on the points that they earn during the day will determine which color level they will be on for the following day.

Color levels range from RED to BLUE.
