The employer remits the additional premium to

and a reimbursement check is sent to the employee.

Administration processes the

claims and sends an invoice to the

employer.

They submit their claims with proof of the expenses to RSL Specialty Products

The Accidental Death Benefit can help protect employees and their families should the unthinkable happen. While no amount of money will ever compensate for a loss, the valuable benefits of the Accidental Death Benefit can help lessen an already stressful time for those left behind.

With the Accidental Death benefit, if a covered employee loses their life due to a covered accident, a $100,000 benefit is paid to the designated beneficiary. The Accidental Death Benefit only covers the insured employee and is reduced 70% at age 70 and terminates at age 80. Spouse and dependents are not eligible for AD&D coverage.

Some employers are eligible to select the Critical Illness Benefit instead of the standard $100,000 Accidental Death Benefit for covered employees. The Critical Illness Benefit is a $5,000 lump sum payment made to the insured when a covered employee has been diagnosed with a covered condition and all premiums have been paid.
