Roles of the Private Sector
• Private companies in Japan have many technologies that is necessary for countries where rapid urbanization is occurring.
Conclusion
• With the cooperation of private and public sectors, we can provide not only individual technologies but a total solution to urbanization, adjusted to each countries situation.
• The technologies that private companies in Japan possess can contribute to making Ecological cities as Economic Cities.

Roles of the Private Sector
• NEDO and World Bank have signed a MOU during this Conference yesterday, to cooperate in the achievement of sustainable urban development.
Conclusion
• We hope that the world class technologies of Japanese companies will dramatically contribute to sustainable development with this collaboration of NEDO’s projects and wide resources of World Bank.
• This MOU is just the beginning of collaboration and we are on our way to discuss on the details.
• To all the delegate from around the world please look forward to participating in
