Your Customer Support Primary contact will receive an email with your specific upgrade date. A new, intuitively redesigned talent dashboard for Performance Management saves you time and makes you more efficient because it shows you the talent information you choose to see about your people – all in one place.
Find what you’re looking for faster by changing your view to:
o Display your To Do’s, Direct Reports, or Entire Team as they relate to the following performance areas: Performance Reviews Goal Plans Goals and Goal Journal Entries Competencies and Competency Journal Entries Leadership Actions Succession Plans Developments Plans
o Collapse or expand the Review Status, Alerts, and Links sections to hide or expose what’s most important to you.
o Get direct access to: An employee’s record Talent Factors to view and/or edit employee details
With the ability to alter the dashboard yourself and quickly drill down for more insight, you can:
o Analyze employee review analytics, such as the percentage of reviews sitting with managers versus employees.

Fun fact! The new talent dashboard is a result of our 48 hours project, where we give our development teams 48 hours of ‘free’ work time to create – from concept to reality – a new or enhanced feature that’ll significantly improve our customers’ work life.
Human Resources
To expand global support and reduce administration, the Fall/Year-End Release lets you:
Make New Hire and Rehire Corrections. Work faster and smarter using the new ‘Correct’
button on your new hire/rehire’s job history record to edit job, job and salary, organization, and/or salary details – as well as correct key dates associated with employment and performance/salary reviews. For example, you can quickly change the hire date assigned to your rehire when he/she ends up starting work later than planned.

History Correction checkboxes.
Retroactive Employee Job and/or Salary Changes. Have you ever taken too long to
complete an employee’s merit increase, and an organizational change occurs before you enter the increase into UltiPro? Now, you can add it retroactively. A new ‘Cascade’ step within Change Job, Change Salary, and Change Job and Salary work events lets you easily insert and cascade/override job and/or salary data on an employee’s current record.

Tax This release delivers the federal, state, local, and provincial statutory updates you need to close out your year as well as comply with United States and Canada tax reporting requirements. Plus, we’re bringing you new features that include:
Mobile Year-End Forms. Employee access to year-end tax forms gets even easier with our new mobile app. Your people can:
o View their tax forms or year-end slips (PDF file). o Print their documents or export them to other applications. o Update their electronic consent for receiving ‘paperless’ tax documents.

Easy Tax Filing for United States Customers As a reminder, United States employees enjoy the added convenience of seamless tax filing via TurboTax. Simply use the TurboTax link on your W-2 within the app, in the portal, or on the printed statement to import 2017 tax data into TurboTax for easy and accurate tax filing.

Want more information? Year-end tends to bring many compliance changes – all announced at different times. Some will make it into this release and some will come later. To review all compliance details delivered with this release, read the Fall/Year-End Release Notes, available October 5 with an addendum added on October 20, in the Learning Center (under Release Information > Release Notes Listing > and filter by “10/16/2017” deployment date). As new requirements from tax jurisdictions become available, we’ll deliver additional updates with our Fourth Quarter Compliance Service Pack in December and the Tax Reporting Service Pack planned for January 2018.
Pay Provide useful pay information to employees on the go. The Fall/Year-End Release expands UltiPro’s mobile app to include:
A Pay Message about Deduction Goal Amounts. Administrators can now create a message to appear on an employee’s pay statement in the UltiPro mobile app when the employee hits a specific percentage of his or her deduction goal amount. An easy way to inform your people, this new message option lets you automatically remind employees, for example, when they’re nearing their goal limit.

Prescriptive Leadership Action Guidance via Mobile. To help managers become better leaders, a new configurable prescriptive leadership actions feature notifies them of past or upcoming employee events, and suggests valuable next-steps to take. The notifications make it easy to know when to take a direct report out to lunch for his/her work anniversary, for example. Or, they can be used more strategically so managers are advised to schedule an in-person conversation once an individual’s retention score goes down.
To foster proactive engagement with your people:
o Manager notifications appear in the mobile app under Team News for instant access, o The suggested leadership action(s) can be added to the To Do list as a reminder, and o Then marked as done when complete.

No Ratings on Reviews. Is your organization moving away from the traditional performance review that numerically rates your people? No problem. Simply turn off performance scoring on review templates so you only elicit text feedback or comments on employee reviews.
