Real Meat

Locally sourced

Organic

This is Henry, well half of Henry

He lived in the field next to my classroom

And these are his chops and his liver

Another 4 chops have already been frozen

And his many roasts

These are what they look like before packaging

So why buy your meat this way

• The price is Equitable £45 buys 10 kilos about the same as the supermarket

• The farmer delivers if to my door – in a black plastic bag.

• I know they are culled humanely

• I see the sheep everyday, they have a good life and no chemicals are added to their fields.

So what about veg?

The potatoes come out of the field behind our house

As do the onions

And the carrots

And this lot costs us about £3

Milk, eggs and orange juice are all provided by the milkman

Which leaves little to buy in the supermarket

Some groceries

And more exotic fruit and veg – broccoli + melon; mostly fair trade

The suede is local

And when we do buy our groceries – this lot cost us £83

We even think carefully about how it is packaged
