Dear student,

students opinions about sustainability issues. Please be honest and
be aware that there are no right or wrong answers.
We would like to invite you to a second questionnaire in half a years time, and
then also inform you about the results of the first survey results. In order to
allow a comparison of changes and because then we do not have to repeat the
basic questions, please write down an individual number consisting of first your
mothers and then your fathers birthday in day and month (for example 10.04.
and 15.10. => 10.04.15.10). (if unsure, shorten it to the part you remember)

Climate change will negatively impact me during my life time.
We are approaching the limit of the number of people the earth cansupport.
Humans have the right to modify the natural environment to suit theirneeds.
When humans interfere with nature, it often produces disastrousconsequences.
Human ingenuity will insure that we do NOT make the earthunliveable.
Humans are severely abusing the environment.
The earth has plenty of natural resources if we just learn how todevelop them.
Plants and animals have as much right as humans to exist.
The balance of nature is strong enough to cope with the impacts ofmodern nations.

Despite our special abilities humans are still subject to the laws ofnature.
Human destruction of the natural environment has been greatlyexaggerated.
The earth has only limited room and resources.
Humans were meant to rule over the rest of nature. The balance of nature is very delicate and easily upset.
Humans will eventually learn enough about how nature works to beable to control it.
If things continue on their present course, we will soon experience amajor ecological disaster.

Please read the subtexts carefully and answer the questions below:
(Picture of Tesla Roadster)The new Tesla Roadster is a 100 % electric vehicle. It has lithium ion
batteries which reduce the energy used and allow driving 250 miles on a
single charge. It only consumes 110-watt-hours of electricity from the
battery to drive a kilometre! In respect to CO2 emissions it is 3 times better
than the hybrid car and 4 times better than the hydrogen fuel-cell car. The
