This 168 “ wall is a new construction. It is part of a kitchen, laundry, pantry and family room reconfiguration.

It makes the best use of all available space for function and impact.

A motor is hidden behind the Trumeau mirror.

A remote moves the lower panel to expose a wall mounted flat screen TV.

View of 12 foot island, complete kitchen renovation.

Inventive kitchen cabinetry. Door on right is a split built in pantry with added panel and new door framing to raise the apparent height.Narrow adjacent wall now hosts a unique new decorative pantry with bi fold lower doors, and decorative

columns and hand painted logo. The piece is footed to look like an antique.

Another view shows use of mixed woods, a custom stove hood with frieze detail, custom refrigerator door, applied carvings, custom cut floor tile as subway tile, and inset mosaic work.

Making use of the entire available space, this design used pre existing set backs to construct media cabinet, bookshelves and dry bar with refrigerator. The frieze above is a four part 16” high inset with six inch acanthus carving. Sides of cabinets are also panel framed at entry to study. Study door was treated with faux finish to match wall treatment.

Most rooms can be improved with simple use of trim.

In my work, I try to upgrade and improve in a timeless style that will add lasting value.

Full scale design services include custom window treatments, wall covering, area rugs, re upholstery and repair of antiques.

For home office design. modular units we used, or we can create custom spaces.

Other services include home editing, organizing for moves, downsizing and blending of households. I am trained in ADA standards for creating safe stay in place environments for older clients.

Total bath renovation, including window treatments.

Sink wall with raised panel headers.

Before this renovation, this bath was split in two with this sink wall, which separated the sink from the rest the bathroom.The new plan allows more light, and much improved function and storage.

All new interior trim work, arch to butlers panry, wall covering, furniture, area rug, window treatments.

Warm unifying color pallet and traditional details is what this client was looking for. We added trim and textures to keep it updated and interesting. Note ceiing paper, glazed woodwork.

Updated master bedroom suite with turban style window treatments, closing panels with black out lining. Carpet, reuphohlstery and new bedding. Lighting solutions, installed by my intrepid engineer client, added focus to the gas fireplace.

Clean lines of this built-in library wall make it possible to use a wide variety of furnishings.
