• Adjectives ending in -ed and -ing

Present Perfect

Present perfect is used to talk about recently finished actions.

Structure

have or has + past participle

Example:

Peter has finished his homework.

Ex.

• Darwing has painted the house

• Cesar has finished the marathon.

• They have built a new machine.

Present Perfect Continuous

It is used to talk about actions that started in the past, continue now and may continue in the future.

Structure:

have or has + been + verb (-ing)

Example:

I have been studying Italian for three months.Ex.

Vanessa and Paul have been teaching English for15 years.

I have been walking for two hours.

Adjectives ending in -ed / -ing

The movie was interesting.

Jorge is interested in this book.

That noise is irritating.

I am irritated by that noise.
