Biography
Evins Design | Julia Evins | Creative Director & Designer
In her 20 years of experience, Julia Evins has created and designed a wide array of projects in collaboration with institutions, corporations, and cultural and arts organizations.
Clients include the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, The Baltimore Museumof Art, Marriott International, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, University of Maryland, Robert H.Smith School of Business, PBS, High Museum of Art, Sylvan Learning Center, FamilyStories,Inc., Maryland Department of Mental Health & Hygiene, Maryland State Office of SpecialProjects, Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, Walters Art Museum, and Digital Learning Group.
Evins Design has received numerous design awards including a 2007 Addy for Baltimore AreaConvention and Visitors Association (with Carton Donofrio Partners), the 2005 AAM AwardsFirst Place for the Smithsonian National Museum of American History’s The Price of FreedomTeacher’s Manual and several AAM (Association of American Museums) Awards of Distinctionover the years; Best of Show awards from the American Library Association (2 years in a row);Best of Show from the Insurance Marketing Communications Association; and an InsuranceCommunications award. Ms. Evins has previously served as a Board Member of The AmericanInstitute of Graphic Arts, Baltimore Chapter.
Julia Evins graduated with honors with a B.A. in Art, Graphic Design emphasis fromPennsylvania State University in 1989.
