Mothers Day 2011

Notes• Dad I went to the Cemetery this afternoon. The first few pictures are of the

flowering plant we took. After that are just some pictures taken today. I mowed yesterday so the curb appeal is looking better and better. Work continues on the last bedroom. Then some “punch list” items and its off to the basement.

• Got the steel handy barn home. 2 heavy boxes. Dad noticed the door was 2 inches too narrow for the lawn tractor. Back it went to Sears. I have decided instead of tearing down the “doll house” to rebuild it into a storage barn. It takes some vision to see what it will look like but I think it will be fine. It will get a new concrete footing at each corner and T-11 siding. And yes a 6 foot door.

• The porch windows are leaking on the new drywall so they are also getting replaced. Nothing fancy white aluminum. Basement getting new picture windows that open to let some of the dampness out. A 70 pt dehumidifier will also be used. I’m looking for a way to have it drain without having to empty it. That’s all for now.
