Naples and Omaha Schools were consolidated in 1950 to become Paul H. Pewitt School.
The new school was not completed by the start of the
1950-1951 school year. Naples classes 1-7 attended Naples
School and Omaha classes 1-7 attended Omaha School.
Grades 8-12 were combined and attended school at Naples
School.

Randa, a 1980 graduate and 1979-80 FFA Chapter Sweetheart, selected a
white jacket. These jackets were available for
a very limited time and changed back to the
traditional blue jacket.
Sara (Kay) Ranes
Sara, Pewitt 1955 graduate was the first student to “letter” in a
commercial subject. Competed in both district
and regional UIL competition.
