Printer Presentation

Printer Start-up.

1) Turn on the printer by pressing the ON switch

2)Go to the screen and click on the Icon Settings (Ajustes)

3) Locate the icon Origin (Origen) and press it

4) Press All (Todos). The machine should star to move until reaching zero X Y Z

5) Once the process is finished, it is time to insert the filament. For this, the extruder

must be warmed up first. Press the back button to access the previous screen

and then press Preheat

6) Press + to get to a specific value (for example, 218, which is the recommended

temperature for most PLA), and then press the back button twice to get to this

screen:

7) It is advisable to perform a platform calibration with the help of a sheet of paper; the paper

should move between the nozzle and you should notice a slight friction. At no time should it

be completely pressed between the nozzle and the (glass) platform. It should be verified for

the 4 corners of the platform using the 4 screws with spring, tightening or loosening as

appropriate. To continue, go to Configuration (Config) and press it

8) Select Shut down motor (Apagar motor). By doing this, you will be able to move

the platform and the axis manually from left to right to move to the 4 corners in

order to perform the tests using the paper sheet

9) Once the operation is finished, you can insert the filament. This machine has

a filament detector that detects the lack of material to avoid, as far as possible,

printing errors due to this issue.

10) Insert the PLA or material to be fused through this and at the same time

towards the Extruder, pulling the lever shown lightly back.

11) With the help of the lever, push down the material until you see that a fine

thread comes out through the nozzle. Another way to do it automatically would

be to select Settings (Ajustes)

12) Press Extrusion (Extrusión)

13) Here you will find the options In (Dentro) and Out (Fuera):

14) It is advisable to change the 5mm setting to 10mmand the Low (Baja) setting to High

(Alta), both to insert and to remove the filament. To remove it, press fast on the Out

(Afuera) icon between 5 and 6 times to avoid jams, and of course always at a temperature

of 218º when using PLA, or a higher temperature for ABS. To put it in, press In (Dentro)

5 or 6 times until you see a fine filament coming out of the nozzle.

15) The printer is now ready to work; the next step is to generate the gcode with Cura,

our favourite laminator, slicer, etc. The gcode generated will be recorded on the SD

card. Insert it into the side card reader of the MKS TFT32 screen and run it by

selecting Configuration (Config)

16) Press Port and the option to use SD card or Flash Drive will be displayed. Select the one you want to use

17) Press the Back (Atrás) icon twice. The Print (Impresión) icon will appear, press it twice

8) All that's left to do is select the name of the file and it should start printing

Happy printing!
