Working an Information Systems Field Support (Internship) at Riverside Methodist Hospital and Grant Medical Center.

Two locations of OhioHealthRIVERSIDE METHODIST HOSPITAL GRANT MEDICAL CENTER

Distribution Center

Our work responsibilities New devices replacement including hot swap, mouse, monitor, and hardware/software, etc.

Re-imaging

Bit locker drive encryption

Windows easy transfer

Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems for a variety of devices

network issues

Using the Degausser to wipe Tapes/Hard Drives and also Solid State Drives.

IT service in basement of the Hospital

Communication handled during meeting or customers

Matthew Nelson was able to read lips and communicate orally.

Nay Lin Aung used a pen and paper, phone, computer or the interpreter. But I was often possible to read clients’ facial expressions and body language to understand what they need.

Ohio Health’s Interpreting services were unreliable. But we managed to get by video remote interpretation.
