‘Call Number’ is the number assigned to the book. It tells you where the book is shelved in the Library.

‘Location’ indicates in which library an item is located.

‘Status’ tells you whether the item is available or borrowed out.

‘Request’ is NOT to view a book or request a book to be sent to you. It is use to reserve a book that is on loan or borrowed by a user. A reservation will secure the book for you. Once the borrower return the book, the Library will notify you as the next borrower.

However, if the status of a book is ‘Available’, you will not be able to make a reservation. An ‘Available’ book means you are allowed to borrow it immediately.
