‘Request’ is NOT to view a book or request a book to be sent to you. It is use to reserve a book that is on loan or borrowed by a user. A reservation will secure the book for you. Once the borrower return the book, the Library will notify you as the next borrower.
However, if the status of a book is ‘Available’, you will not be able to make a reservation. An ‘Available’ book means you are allowed to borrow it immediately.
