Mandatory training is largely…“inefficient & contributes towards lost time and service disruption” (ST3)

“I would prefer On line working to prove competency rather than endless lectures” (ST2)

“2 days of clinical work are wasted for the endless repetition of the same talks about the same topics” (CMT3)

“In my experience mandatory training frequently takes several days & its focus is based upon ticking a box for the trust rather than ways of working that are unique to the local department” (ST5)

JD Project Manager: 90% of respondents said ‘as an alternative use of time’ introductions to departmental guidelines, protocols and practice need to be improved as this will ‘directly

lower risk’
