OTTAWA VALLEY LANDROVERS
Last Dip of the Season
Found a power line cut just outside of St. Marys—Al Carthew and I ran it after oiling our trucks for the winter … which likely wasn’t the best way to get the undercoating to “set” … but you know how these things go …photo credit: rory mcdonnell

A ll for the sake of Rovers. My past two
weekends have been taken up by clearing an area in the forest, laying a gravel road, taking delivery of another 40 foot shipping container and hiring the largest tractor in the neighborhood to haul said container to said cleared space. Phew!

H ere are a few photos from an unmaintained road I investigated just east of Franktown. Turn south off Hwy #10 onto Davis Side
Road, then west onto Whipoorwill Road – after a short distance it becomes the unmaintained road.
