COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE

To create, plan, and run a successful 2nd semester community service project that contributes to the wellbeing of our school and local community

We have to decide:• Project possibilities, dates• Target audience, beneficiaries• Logistics

Purpose of this Committee

Point of Contact: Ali Zaidi • All questions directed to him• Will decide whether or not leaders are needed

Your level of involvement in this committee will be decided by none other than you.

By being on this committee you are committing to absolute support.

Communication is key! (Email!!!) Enjoy! You have the chance to make a serious

impact on someone’s life!

Who are we trying to help?• Students at PRHS?• Local community? To what extent?

What are we trying to do for the audience? Cost (we don’t exactly have an excess of

money)• Fundraiser almost necessary

Plausible ideas given by members last meeting:• Renovating/beautifying a run-down space/parking lot• Buy/collect backpacks for poor children (Clarkston?)• Homeless outreach• Partnership with Adopt-a-Grandparent• Canned food drive• Sending orphans in Atlanta area on field trip• Club-sponsored carnival• Any new ideas?
