    Guest servicesSecurity – Lost and FoundReport lost children to any uniformed staff member. Lost and found is located at the Zoo entrance.

    First AidReport emergencies to any uniformed staff member.Proceed to the main Zoo entrance for minor injuries.

    Handicapped Visitors, Wheelchair and Stroller RentalsThe park is handicapped accessible except for the upperportion of the Woodlands Walk. Trams are wheelchair and stroller accessible.Wheelchair and stroller rentals are available atthe Zoo and Garden entrance.

    TramTram stops are located beside Kenya Cafe and infront of the Garden Visitors Center. Children mustbe accompanied by an adult to ride.

    GroupsGroup discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. Reservations are required 2 weeks prior to your visit.Facilities are also available for private rental. Buy yourtickets online at www.riverbanks.org.

    Picnic FacilitiesPicnic facilities are provided outside the park at thewest end of the Zoo parking lot – limited access.

    sALUDA FacTORYINTERPRETIVE

    cENTERIn order to convey thehistoric significance of

    the Saluda River Factory,an interpretive center wasbuilt adjacent to the mill

    site in 1999.

    1973, Riverbanks’ 170-acre site has a deep-rooted historydating back to the early 1800s with South Carolina’s textile

    industry and the Civil War. Today visitors can viewstructural remains that reveal this rich past from
