MONSTER ACTIVITY

You are Seniors this year and you are bogged down with school work, jobs, chores, and several other tasks that may restrict or hinder your social life. One day you are invited to the laboratory of Dr. Ross, the famous genetic scientist. He has made a scientific breakthrough in the area of cloning and genetic enhancements through computers, electricity, and a durable flesh like substance. He needs you to design your very own genetic/enhanced “helper” to test his experimental breakthrough.

Here is your task.

1) You MUST design and draw out a being that can help you complete at least 7 tasks/chores. (For example, you may hate to wash the dishes. So, your helper may have 4 arms (2 arms to wash dishes and 2 arms to dry dishes.))

2) You MUST label each of your creation’s 7 enhancements (minimum) and explain the function of these enhancements. (For example, the drawing of my creature may have eyes like a cat, so it can drive my car in the dark while I sleep in the back seat.)

3) You MUST design and draw your being in color.

4) Each enhancement of your creature MUST serve a PRACTICAL purpose for you as the designer. (Your enhancement MUST be APPROPRIATE). **NO ROBOTS

5) Give your creation a name and write it at the top of your paper.

6) If you desire to draw clothing or accessories to your creation, you will receive bonus points.

7) You will be presenting your creatures in class for points. (40 POINTS)

Be prepared to answer questions about the enhancements you have designed for your creature.
