Trent Hamm of The Simple Dollar made a post about allowance for kids. His formula for allowance is Age x ($0.50) = Allowance. His children were getting allowance regardless of if they did any chores. So he created a chore board to teach his kids about exchanging money for effort. Create a board with your children’s chores.

Add cards with each child’s name to all the To Do columns.

Give each child their own color to make it easier to visualize who has done their chores.
