Product DescriptionMobilgard 12 are high performance diesel engine oils developed for use in trunk piston engines operating onlow sulphur distillate fuels in marine and industrial applications. They are formulated to have excellent resistanceto oxidation and viscosity increase over a long period of service. They have superior water separating propertiesand provide excellent corrosion protection.

Mobilgard 12 Series meets API requirements for CF rating.

ApplicationsMobilgard 12 Series is intended for use as cylinder and bearing lubricants in marine and industrial diesel enginesoperating on distillate fuels or light fuel blends. They may be used as crankcase lubricants in large crossheadtype diesel engines operating on high sulfur fuels.

The primary, and proven particularly effective, recommendations for these oils are in small bore, high speedengines in fishing fleets; the new more severe service engines and in many types of medium speed engines.
