EMM-MGADL-09-15 Mobilgard ADL Series Advanced diesel lubricants Mobilgard ADL Series is a high performance family of increased dispersancy engine oils, designed for high Brake Mean Effective Pressure (BMEP) medium and high-speed diesel engines operating on distillate and marine diesel oil fuels. These advanced diesel lubricants are available in both SAE 30 and 40 grades to suit most marine engine viscosity requirements. Detergent and dispersant properties As a result of its detergent and dispersant properties Mobilgard ADL Series oils (Mobilgard ADL 30 and Mobilgard ADL 40) can help increase resistance to cylinder liner lacquer formation in severe service applications and also assist in sludge and deposit removal. Enhanced engine cleanliness The use of Mobilgard ADL Series oils can help cut oil consumption associated with cylinder liner lacquering. They can also assist in the improvement of overall engine cleanliness, increasing time between engine overhauls. Superior load carrying properties minimise piston ring and liner wear, while also making Mobilgard ADL Series lubricants suitable for marine gearing applications. Compatibility and performance Mobilgard ADL Series oils help correct problems normally associated with severe service engines operating on lower quality fuels. They have demonstrated superior performance in a range of the latest diesel engines including MAN B&W Alpha, Caterpillar (3600 Series), Deutz and Wartsila models. Results included dramatically reduced oil consumption, significantly reduced liner lacquering and extended periods between overhauls. These advanced diesel lubricants possess excellent water separation, rust and corrosion resistance properties. Key features and potential benefits include: • Maximised engine cleanliness, reduced liner lacquering, reduced top deck sludge, reduced piston ring groove deposits and bore polishing • Prolonged critical wear surfaces life • Low deposits in the ring belt area, leading to extended cylinder overhaul periods • Minimised oil consumption and improved bearing protection • Prevention of corrosive wear due to higher sulphur fuels • One severe service engine lubricant for all shipboard applications For more information on Mobilgard ADL Series, please contact your ExxonMobil Marine Fuels & Lubricants representative or visit www.exxonmobil.com/marine Servere service engine oils

Mobilgard™ ADL Series

Advanced diesel lubricantsMobilgard™ ADL Series is a high performance family of increased dispersancy engine oils, designed for high Brake Mean Effective Pressure (BMEP) medium and high-speed diesel engines operating on distillate and marine diesel oil fuels. These advanced diesel lubricants are available in both SAE 30 and 40 grades to suit most marine engine viscosity requirements.

Detergent and dispersant propertiesAs a result of its detergent and dispersant properties Mobilgard ADL Series oils (Mobilgard™ ADL 30 and Mobilgard™ ADL 40) can help increase resistance to cylinder liner lacquer formation in severe service applications and also assist in sludge and deposit removal.

Enhanced engine cleanlinessThe use of Mobilgard ADL Series oils can help cut oil consumption associated with cylinder liner lacquering. They can also assist in the improvement of overall engine cleanliness, increasing time between engine overhauls.

Superior load carrying properties minimise piston ring and liner wear, while also making Mobilgard ADL Series lubricants suitable for marine gearing applications.

Compatibility and performanceMobilgard ADL Series oils help correct problems normally associated with severe service engines operating on lower quality fuels.

Key features and potential benefits include:

• Maximised engine cleanliness, reduced liner lacquering, reduced top deck sludge, reduced piston ring groove deposits and bore polishing

• Prolonged critical wear surfaces life

• Low deposits in the ring belt area, leading to extended cylinder overhaul periods

• Minimised oil consumption and improved bearing protection

• Prevention of corrosive wear due to higher sulphur fuels

• One severe service engine lubricant for all shipboard applications
