Your Minivator stairlift is fitted with a keyswitch (Figure 2).
The stairlift cannot be operated unless thekey is inserted and turned to the onposition.
The key switch is provided to enableyou to lock the stairlift to prevent itbeing used by others (for examplechildren).
However, it can be left in the on position ifdesired.
If you remove your key for safetyreasons, please ensure you put it in asafe place.
If the key switch is turned off the lift willcontinue to charge.
As well as a key switch your stairlift is fittedwith an on/off switch (Figure 3) on thebottom, front panel of the lift.
Ensure that this is left in the ‘ON’position. The fault diagnosis displaypanel will be illuminated to indicatethis.
If you intend to be away from home for along period, and decide to switch off themains supply, it is important that you alsoswitch off the lift from this on/off switch.
This will ensure that the lift batteries willremain charged while you are away.

The stairlift is fitted with a diagnosticdisplay (Figure 4) that displays a code tohelp diagnose faults. Refer to Appendix 3for an explanation of the diagnostic codes.If you should experience a problem withyour lift please examine the display andmake a note of any codes that aredisplayed. Please inform the customerservices operator of these codes whenreporting any fault.
Before useBefore using your stairlift, MOSTIMPORTANTLY please ensure the stairs areclear of other people, pets or any objectswhich may obstruct your stairlift. Then ensure that the arms, footplate andseat are folded down for use to ensureyour safety (Figure 5).

The remote control (Figure 7) is used tocall the lift to either the top/bottom of thestairs or to operate a powered foldinghinge where fitted. This control may alsobe used by an attendant where the user isunable to operate the stairlift themselves.
The attendant should always remain offthe staircase until the stairlift isstationary.
Your Minivator 2000 seat, armrests andfootrest can be folded (when not in use)to allow easier passage up and down stairs(Figure 8).
SAFETY PRECAUTION!ALWAYS RETURN THE STAIRLIFT TO ITSSTOWED POSITION. I.E. WITH ARMRESTS,SEAT AND FOOTREST FOLDED AND THECHAIR PARALLEL TO THE TRACK ASSHOWN IN FIGURE 8, SO THAT EXITS ARENOT OBSTRUCTED.
Manual footplate link (optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with a manualfootplate link the footplate willautomatically fold away when the frontseat squab is lifted. It will also lower thefootplate when the front seat squab islowered.
Power footplate link – seat squaboperated (optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with a powerfootplate link operated from the seatsquab it will automatically fold away thefootplate when the front seat squab islifted. It will also lower the footplate whenthe front seat squab is lowered.
Power footplate link – arm operated(optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with a powerfootplate link operated from the arm itwill have an additional switch under thearm (Figure 9). To lower the footplate, usethe rocker switch under the arm.To lift the footplate move the rockerswitch to its alternate position.
NB If moving the footplate while seated onthe stairlift please ensure your feet do notobstruct the footplate whilst it is in motion.

Your Minivator stairlift is operated bysimply pressing and holding the operatingtoggle in the direction you wish to travel(Figure 6). The stairlift will automaticallystop when the toggle is released or thestairlift has reached the end of its travel.
PLEASE NOTE:In the interest of safety, initial activation ofthe stairlift is delayed by 1 second frompressing and holding the operating toggle,to avoid accidental operation. If the toggleis released while the lift is in motion, thelift will stop and a delay of 1 second willoccur before the toggle will re-start the lift.
When changing the direction of travel thedelay will be 3 seconds before the liftbegins to move.

A swivel seat is provided to enable you tomount/dismount the seat more easily atthe top of the stairs by swivelling you onto the landing.
To operate the seat swivel, wait untilthe stairlift has stopped.
To swivel the seat hold either (there is oneboth sides of the seat) swivel lever downor pull it up. This will release the seat lockand allow you to move the seat round bypushing away from the footplate. Whenthe seat reaches 90 degrees it will lock inposition.
You should not attempt to leave the seatuntil it has firmly ‘clicked’ into its lockedposition.
To swivel in the opposite direction followthe same procedure, but push away fromthe landing.
Power operated swivel (optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with an optionalpower operated swivel there will be noswivel levers fitted. In order to swivel theseat hold the operating toggle in the updirection. When the stairlift reaches thetop of the stairs continue to hold theoperating toggle in the up direction.The stairlift will beep three times andthen the seat will swivel. When the seat is fully swivelled to 90 degrees the seatwill stop.
You should not attempt to leave the seatuntil it is fully rotated.
To swivel in the opposite direction followthe same procedure in reverse. Push theoperating lever in the down direction. Theseat will beep three times and then after ashort pause it will rotate to the drivingposition. Continue to hold the operatinglever in the down direction. The stairliftwill then again beep three times beforebeginning its descent.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
NEVERSwivel the seat without the lap beltfastened.
NEVERMount or dismount the swivel seat unlessit is locked in position.
NEVERTry to operate the swivel seat whilst thestairlift is in motion. (As a safetyprecaution, should you try to use it whilstthe lift is in motion, it will cause the lift tostop).
NEVERAttempt to travel up or down the staircaseunless the seat is in the correct position(i.e. facing directly across the staircase).

In some installations a hinged track optionmay be necessary: usually to move thetrack out of the way of a doorway at thefoot of the stairs. The hinged track is fullyautomatic in operation and will functionas follows:
Going up the stairs
Mount the stairlift as previously directedand push the operating toggle in the updirection. The stairlift will, after a shortdelay, move up the stairs. Once the lift haspassed the hinged track section it will stop– KEEP THE TOGGLE PRESSED IN THE UP DIRECTION. At this time the seatwill beep three times whilst the hingetrack automatically folds itself away. Whenthe hinge is fully folded the stairlift willcontinue to the top of the stairs.
Going down the stairs
Mount the stairlift as previously directedand push the operating toggle in thedown direction. The stairlift will, after ashort delay, move down the stairs. Beforethe lift has reached the hinged tracksection it will stop (Figure 11) – KEEP THETOGGLE PRESSED IN THE DOWNDIRECTION.
At this time the seat will beep three timeswhilst the hinge track automatically foldsopen itself. When the hinge is fully openthe stairlift will continue to the bottom ofthe stairs.
Parking the Stairlift
WHEN THE STAIRLIFT IS NOT IN USE ITSHOULD BE MOVED TO ITS PARK POSITIONSO THAT IT DOES NOT CAUSE ANOBSTRUCTION.
THE STAIRLIFT DOES NOT CHARGE WHENIT IS PARKED AT THE BOTTOM OF THESTAIRS.
Hinged trackpowered (optional)
To park the stairlift, press and hold the Pbutton on the handset (Figure 12). The liftwill travel up the stairs to its park positionand the hinge will automatically fold itself.If you release the P button the lift or trackwill stop moving. To continue, press andhold the P button again. After a short delaymovement will start again.
WARNINGBEFORE YOU OPERATE THE HINGED TRACKPLEASE REMOVE ANY OBSTACLES WHICHMAY OBSTRUCT THE TRACK.
Before raising the manual hinged track parkthe stairlift on the charge points, above thehinge, or at the top of the stairs.
Your stairlift will not work unless the trackhas been lowered.

Safety and servicingWe advise that your stairlift is serviced after the first 12 months and thereafter AT LEASTEVERY 12 MONTHS.
This work must be carried out by a competent person, i.e. a Minivator approved dealer.
If in doubt, please contact the Minivator Service Department on 08700 118282.
If you own your stairlift and no longer require it your dealer or Minivator may be interestedin purchasing it.
Warnings and precautionsNEVERAllow more than one person to use the stairlift at any one time.
The maximum carrying capacity is 115kg (18 Stone / 250lb). If you have a heavy duty versionthe maximum capacity is 137kg (211⁄2 Stone / 300lb).
NEVERAllow children to play on or with the stairlift.
NEVERAllow water to come into contact with the components in the stairlift. If you have totransport liquids DO SO WITH CARE.
NEVERPlace objects in the track or leave objects on the stairs, where they could come into contactwith the lift in operation. Your stairlift is fitted with pressure sensitive side edges andundertray on the footplate, which will automatically stop the lift if it detects anyobstructions.
NEVERUse the stairlift without using the lap belt, or any other safety belts or harnesses fitted.
NEVERUse the stairlift in a standing position.
ALWAYSKeep your FEET ON THE FOOTPLATE whilst the stairlift is in motion, and try to avoid yourfeet hanging over the edges of the footplate.
NEVERSwivel the seat until the lift has come to a stop at the top or bottom of the staircase.
ALWAYSFold the chair when it is not in use to avoid obstructing exits.
WARNING If the overspeed governor is activated it should only be reset by a competent person, i.e. aMinivator approved dealer. Activation of the overspeed governor is indicated by the lift notbeing able to be driven down the stairs and the diagnostic display showing 0.

In the unlikely event that the lift has atotal power failure or runs on to the finaltrack stops there is an emergency handwinding procedure. Please follow thesesteps:
1. Switch off the stairlift with the key.
2. Insert the emergency hand windingknob (Figure 13).
3. Turn the knob in the direction indicatedfor the required movement.
4. When the desired position is reachedremove the hand winder and switch thelift on.

Your stairlift is fitted with safety edges on the bottom of the footrest and on thelift itself that will stop the stairlift shouldany article become trapped by the footrest (Figure 14).
To remove the article reverse the stairliftaway from the object then have theobject removed from the staircase.Proceed on your stairlift as normal.

Battery care and charging
Your Minivator stairlift is battery poweredand will continue to work for a period oftime even if you have a power cut. Youshould normally be able to travel up anddown the stairs at least 10 times withoutneeding to charge the batteries.Particularly in the event of a power cut,however you should always ensure thatthere is sufficient light to allow safe travel,and especially at each end of the trackwhere you get on and off the lift.
Your stairlift track is fitted with chargingpoints, normally at the top and bottom ofthe staircase. Your stairlift should be lefton one of these charging points when notin use to ensure that the batteries arecharged. If the stairlift makes a beepingnoise and/or the display show a "2" whenit is left on a charging point and it is not inuse IT IS NOT CHARGING. Please check thatthe power supply for the stairlift isswitched on. If it is switched on and thebeeping continues please contact yourdealer or the Minivator ServiceDepartment on 08700 118282.
MaintenanceThere are no user serviceable parts fittedto your stairlift. If any damage is visible oryour stairlift sounds or behaves unusuallycontact Minivator or your approved dealerimmediately. We advise that your stairlift isserviced after the first 12 months andthereafter AT LEAST EVERY 12 MONTHS.
Care and cleaningBefore cleaning any part of your Minivatorstairlift, please ensure you have removedthe key.
The Minivator stairlift is manufacturedfrom a variety of materials, all with easy“wipe clean” surfaces. The seat and body

covers can be wiped over with a damp,NOT WET, cloth and a small quantity ofwashing up liquid.
PLEASE DO NOT use abrasive cleaners,bleach or solvent based cleaners, as thesewill damage the seat.
To clean the track, first send the stairlift tothe top of the stairs. The track can becleaned with a damp cloth. When most ofthe track is clean, move the stairlift to thebottom of the stairs and finish cleaningthe track making sure that none of thecleaning debris falls on to it.
To maintain your Minivator stairlift ingood mechanical order, it is recommendedthat regular services are carried out byqualified service engineers.
Disposal ofyour Stairlift
Your Stairlift has been manufactured usinghigh quality materials and components,which can be recycled and reused.
The crossed-out wheeled binsymbol indicates that yourStairlift is covered by theEuropean Directive 2002/96/EC,which governs the disposal of
waste electrical and electronic equipment.
This means that your Stairlift should notbe disposed of as household waste butshould be appropriately disposed of for recycling.
Recycling this product will help to protectthe environment by ensuring that allmaterials contained in the Stairlift areappropriately handled.

Ihr Minivator ist mit einem SchlüsselSchalter ausgestattet (Abb. 2).
Der Treppenlift kann erst nach Einsteckendes Schlüssels und Drehen auf die “Ein”-Position bedient werden.
Der Schlüsselschalter verhindert dieBenutzung des Treppenliftes durchUnbefugte. (Zum Beispiel Kinder).
Er kann jedoch auch in der “Ein”-Positiongelassen werden.
Wenn Sie den Schlüssel ausSicherheitsgründen entfernen, legenSie ihn an einem sicheren Ort ab.
Auch wenn der Schlüsselschalterabgeschaltet ist, lädt der Lift die Batterie.
Ihr Treppenlift ist zusätzlich auf der unterenVorderseite mit einem normalen Ein/AusSchalter ausgestattet (Abb. 3).
Versichern Sie sich, dass dieser sich aufder „Ein“-Position befindet. Dannleuchtet die Prüfanzeige fürFehlermeldungen.
Wenn Sie länger von zu Hause abwesendsind, und die Hauptstromversorgungausschalten, muss der Lift ebenfalls überden Ein/Aus Schalter ausgeschaltet werden.
Die Liftbatterien bleiben auf diese Weiseaufgeladen.

Die Fernbedienung (Abb. 7) schickt den Liftnach oben oder unten oder steuert dieBedienung einer installiertenautomatischen Klappschiene. DieFernbedienung kann auch von einerAufsichtsperson genutzt werden, wenn derBenutzer nicht selbst den Lift bedienenkann.
Die Aufsichtsperson darf sich während desLiftbetriebes nicht auf der Treppebefinden.
Der Sitz, die Armlehnen und das FußbrettIhres Minivators können (wenn nichtbenutzt) zusammengeklappt werden umdie Treppe normal hinauf- undhinterzugehen (Abb. 8).

Manueller Fußbrettanschluß(optional)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift mit einem manuellenFußbrettanschluß ausgestattet ist, klapptsich das Fußbrett automatisch hoch wennder Vordersitz angehoben wird. Wird derSitz heruntergeklappt, klappt das Fußbrettebenso nach unten.
Fußbrettanschluß – mitKlappautomatik (optional)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift mit einerKlappautomatik ausgestattet ist, klapptsich das Fußbrett automatisch hoch wennder Vordersitz angehoben wird. Wird dasFußbrett heruntergeklappt, klappt der Sitzebenso nach unten.
Fußbrettanschluß –Armlehnenautomatik (optional)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift mit einerKlappautomatik ausgestattet ist, die vonder Armelehne aus bedient wird, hat dieseeinen Zusatzschalter unter der Armlehne.Um das Fußbrett herunterzuklappen, denWippschalter bedienen.
Um das Fußbrett zu heben, den Schalter indie andere Richtung ziehen.
NB Wenn Sie auf dem Treppenlift sitzenwährend Sie das Fußbrett betätigen, dieFüße aus dem Bereich des Brettes bringen.

Ihr Minivator Treppenlift wird durch einsimples Drücken und Halten des Hebels inder Reiserichtung (nach unten oder oben)(Abb. 6) betrieben. Der Treppenlift stopptautomatisch wenn der Hebel gelöst oderder Lift am Ziel ist.
WICHTIGER HINWEIS:Aus Sicherheitsgründen gibt es bei demSchalten des Hebels 1 SekundeVerzögerung, damit der Lift sich nichtunkontrolliert in Bewegung setzen kann.Wenn der Hebel losgelassen wird, währendder Lift in Bewegung ist, stoppt er miteiner Zeitverzögerung von 1 Sekundebevor der Lift wieder in Gang gesetztwerden kann.
Bei Richtungswechsel erfolgt eine 3Sekunden Verzögerung bevor der Lift sichwieder in Bewegung setzt.

Der Drehsitz erleichtert Ihnen das Ein- undAussteigen am oberen Ende der Treppedurch das Hindrehen zum Treppenabsatzoben.
Den Drehsitz erst betätigen wenn derLift oben abgestoppt hat.
Um den Sitz zu drehen, einen der beidenHebel an der Seite des Sitzes ziehen oderherunterdrücken. Die Sperre wird gelöstund der Sitz kann vom Fußbrettweggedreht werden. Der Sitz rastet beieinem 90° Winkel ein.
Erst nachdem der Sitz mit einemKlickgeräusch eingerastet ist, können Sievom Sitz aufstehen.
Um in die entgegengesetzte Richtung zudrehen, den Vorgang genausodurchführen, aber sich vom Absatzabdrücken.
Drehstuhl Automatik (wahlweise)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift wahlweise miteinem Automatikdrehstuhl ausgerüstetist, hat dieser keine Hebel. Um den Sitz zudrehen, den Hebel aufwärts halten. Wennder Treppenlift oben an der Treppeangekommen ist, den Hebel in dieserPosition lassen.
Der Treppenlift piepst dreimal und derSitz dreht sich. Wenn der Sitz sich um 90°gedreht hat, stoppt er ab.
Verlassen Sie den Sitz erst, wenn er vollgedreht hat.
Um in die entgegengesetzte Richtung zudrehen, den Vorgang genausowiederholen. Den Hebel nach untenlegen. Der Sitz piepst dreimal und drehtnach einer kurzen Pause in dieFahrtrichtung. Halten Sie den Hebelweiter nach unten. Der Treppenlift piepsterneut dreimal bevor er herunterfährt.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
NIEMALSDen Sitz ohne Sitzgurt drehen.
NIEMALSOhne Einrastung den Drehsitz verlassenoder benutzen.
NIEMALSDen Drehsitz betätigen, währen derTreppenlift in Bewegung ist.(Sicherheitshalber stoppt der Lift ab,sobald Sie versuchen denDrehmechanismus auszulösen).
NIEMALSNach unten oder hochfahren, solange derSitz nicht in der korrekten Position ist (d.h.in Richtung quer über der Treppe).
Bei manchen Anlagen ist eine automatischeKlappschiene notwendig: meist, um dieSchiene aus dem Weg eines Türrahmens amFuß der Treppe zu bekommen. Dieautomatische Klappschiene funktioniert wiefolgt:
Treppe hinauf
Wie vorher beschrieben den Treppenliftbenutzen und den Hebel nach oben stellen.Nach einer kurzen Pause bewegt sich derTreppenlift nach oben. Wenn der Lift dieautomatische Klappschiene passiert hat, hälter an – DEN HEBEL WEITERHIN NACH OBENHALTEN. Der Lift piepst dreimal, währenddie Klappschiene sich automatischwegklappt. Wenn die Schiene aufgeklapptist, setzt der Treppenlift seine Fahrt nachoben fort.
Treppe hinunter
Treppenlift wie beschrieben benutzen undden Hebel nach unten stellen. Nach einerkurzen Pause bewegt sich der Treppenliftabwärts. Bevor der Lift den Bereich derKlappschiene erreicht, hält er an (Abb. 11) –DEN HEBEL WEITERHIN NACH UNTENHALTEN.
Der Sitzlift piepst dreimal während sich dieKlappschiene automatisch ausklappt. Wenndie Schoiene ausgeklappt ist, setzt der Liftseine Fahrt nach unten fort.
Treppenlift parkieren
DEN TREPPENLIFT IMMER IN DIEGRUNDPOSITION BRINGEN SODASS ZU- UNDABGÄNGE NICHT BLOCKIERT SIND.
DER TREPPENLIFT WIRD NICHTAUFGELADEN WENN ER SICH UNTEN ANDER TREPPE BEFINDET.
AutomatischeKlappschiene
(wahlweise)
Der Treppenlift wird parkiert indem Sie dieP-Taste auf Ihrer Fernbedienung drücken(Abb. 12). Der Treppenlift fährt die Treppenach oben zur Parkposition und dieKlappschiene klappt ein. Wenn Sie die PTaste loslassen, stoppt der Lift oder dieSchiene ab. Um fortzufahren, die P Tasteerneut drücken. Nach einer kurzenVerzögerung wird der Vorgang fortgesetzt.
WARNUNGBEVOR SIE DIE KLAPPSCHIENE BETÄTIGENZUERST ALLE HINDERNISSE DIE DIE SCHIENEBEHINDERN KÖNNEN ENTFERNEN.
Vor dem Ausklappen den Lift amAufladepunkt entweder über der Schieneoder oben parkieren.

Sicherheit und KundendienstWir empfehlen einen Kundendienstcheck des Liftes nach den ersten 12 Monaten und danachMINDESTENS ALLE 12 MONATE.
Diese Arbeit sollte von einer dafür qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden, d.h. einemanerkannten Minivator Händler.
Wenn Sie dazu Fragen haben, den Minivator-Kundendienst unter der Telefonnummer 08700118282 anrufen.
Wenn Sie den Treppenlift gekauft haben und ihn nicht mehr benötigen, setzen Sie sich mitIhrem Händler oder Minivator in Verbindung. Evtl. kann der Lift weiterverkauft werden.
Hinweise und SicherheitNIEMehr als eine Person zu selben Zeit den Treppenlift benutzen lassen.
Die maximale Tragkraft beträgt 115kg. Bei der Schwerlastausführung beträgt sie 137kg.
NIEKindern erlauben mit oder auf dem Treppenlift zu spielen.
NIEDie Teile des Treppenlifts nicht mit Wasser in Berührung bringen Flüssigkeiten VORSICHTIGdamit transportieren.
NIEGegenstände auf der Schiene oder auf der Treppe lassen, wo sie mit dem Lift in Berührungkommen können. Ihr Treppenlift ist mit druckempfindlichen Seitenkanten am Lift und ander Unterseite des Fußbrettes ausgerüstet, die den Lift automatisch stoppen wenn sie einHindernis orten.
NIEDen Treppenlift ohne den Sicherheitsgurt, oder den Beckengurt nutzen.
NIEDen Treppenlift stehend benutzen.
IMMERDie Füße während der Fahrt AUF DEM FUSSBRETT BEHALTEN und nicht die Füße über dasFußbrett hinaus hängen lassen.
NIEDen Sitz drehen bevor der Lift oben oder unten an der Treppe abgestoppt hat.
IMMERDen Stuhl zusammenklappen wenn er nicht in Gebrauch ist (sonst Hindernis).
WARNUNG Wenn der Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzer aktiviert wurde, sollte er nur von einer qualifiziertenPerson zurückgesetzt werden. Dieser Fall wird dadurch angezeigt, dass der Lift nicht dieTreppe hinunterfährt und die Prüfanzeige die Ziffer 0 anzeigt.

Betrieb Ihres Minivator 2000
Im unwahrscheinlichen Fall einesStromausfalls des Liftes oder einesFesthängens des Antriebs oben gibt eseine Nothandkurbel. Befolgen Sie dieSchritte:
1. Den Treppenlift mit dem Schlüsselabschalten.
2. Die Nothandkurbel einsetzen (SieheAbb. 13).
3. Drehen Sie die Kurbel in der benötigtenRichtung.
4. Wenn die gewünschte Position erreichtist, die Nothandkurbel entfernen undden Lift anschalten.
Falls Sie Fragen dazu haben, setzen Sie sichmit dem örtlichen Minivator Händler unterder Telefonnummer 08700 118282 inVerbindung.
Ihr Treppenlift ist mit Sicherheitskanten ander Unterseite des Fußbrettes und am Liftselbst ausgestattet, die den Treppenliftanhalten wenn ein Gegenstand sich imFußbrett verfängt (Abb. 14).
Um den Gegenstand zu entfernen, denTreppenlift ein Stück rückwärts weg vomObjekt bewegen und es von der Treppenehmen lassen. Dann die Fahrt mit demLift fortsetzen.

Routinechecks und Wartung

Batteriepflegeund Aufladen
Ihr Minivator Treppenlift ist batteriebetrie-ben und kann auch nach einemStromausfall eine Zeitlang funktionieren. ImNormalfall können Sie etwa 10 Mal fahrenbevor die Batterien geladen werdenmüssen. Im Falle eines Stromausfalls bittedarauf achten, dass genügend Lichtvorhanden ist, um besonders oben undunten an der Treppe einen sicherenAusstieg/Einstieg zu gewährleisten.
Ihre Treppenliftschiene ist mit zwei Lade-punkten ausgestattet – oben und unten ander Treppe. Der Treppenlift muss bei Nicht-benutzung an einer dieser Stellen parkiertwerden, um aufzuladen. Wenn er ein Piep-geräusch macht und /oder eine „2“ auf derPrüfanzeige anzeigt und er nicht in Betriebist LÄDT ER NICHT AUF. Bitte überprüfen, obdie Stromversorgung für den Treppenlifteingeschaltet ist. Wenn er eingeschaltet istund der Piepton nicht aufhört, ihrenMinivator Händler oder den Kundendienstunter der Nummer 08700 118282 anrufen.
ReparaturenIhr Treppenlift hat keine für den Nutzerverwertbaren Teile. Wenn Beschädigungensichtbar sind oder das Gerät ungewohnteGeräusche hervorbringt oder Störungen imBetrieb zeigt, bitte Ihren Händler oderMinivator verständigen. Wir empfehleneinen Kundendienstcheck des Liftes nachden ersten 12 Monaten und danachMINDESTENS ALLE 12 MONATE.
Pflege undWartung
Bevor Sie Ihren Minivator Treppenlift reini-gen, bitte vorher den Schlüssel abziehen.
Ihr Minivator Treppenlift ist mit verschie-denen, leicht zu reinigenden Materialiengebaut worden. Der Sitz und die Verklei-
dungen können mit einem feuchten, ABERNICHT NASSEN, Tuch und etwasReinigungsmittel abgewischt werden.
Bitte KEINE Scheuermittel, Bleiche oderlösungsmittelhaltige Reiniger benutzen,denn diese beschädigen den Sitz.
Für die Schienenreinigung, den Treppenliftzum oberen Haltepunkt fahren. Die Schienekann mit einem feuchten Tuch abgewischtwerden. Wenn die Schiene dort sauber ist,den Treppenlift nachunten fahren und dieSchiene reinigen. Dabei sollten keineSchmutzpartikel in die Schiene fallen.
Damit Ihr Minivator Treppenlift imeinwandfreien technischen Zustand bleibt,empfehlen wir eine regelmäßige Wartungdurch qualifizierte Techniker.
Entsorgung IhresTreppenlifts
Ihr Treppenlift besteht aus hochwertigenMaterialien und Komponenten, diewiederverwendet werden können.
Das Symbol des durchgestriche-nen Mülleimers bedeutet, dassIhr Treppenlift unter dieeuropäische Abfallrichtlinie Nr.2002/96/EC, fällt, die die
Entsorgung von Elektroschrott undElektronischen Geräten regelt.
Ihr Treppenlift darf daher nicht im Haus-müll/Sperrmüll entsorgt werden, sondernmuss dem Wiederverwertungskreislaufzugeführt werden.

Votre monte-escaliers Minivator a uninterrupteur à clé (Figure 2).
Le monte-escaliers ne peut pas fonctionnersi la clé n’est pas insérée et mise enposition marche.
L’interrupteur à clé est fourni pourvous permettre de verrouiller le monte-escaliers afin d’éviter qu’il ne soitutilisé par d’autres personnes (parexemple des enfants).
Cependant, elle peut être laissée enposition marche si vous le souhaitez.
Si vous enlevez la clé par sécurité, s’il vous plaît mettez- la dans unendroit sûr.
Si l’interrupteur à clé est en position arrêtle monte-escaliers continuera de secharger.
En plus de l’interrupteur à clé , votremonte-escaliers est doté d’un interrupteurmarche/arrêt (Figure 3) qui est sous, lepanneau de devant du monte-escaliers.
Assurez vous qu’il est laissé en positionMarche (‘ON’). L’affichage de diagnosticde défaut sera éclairé pour indiquercela.
Si vous avez l’intention de vous absenter dela maison pendant une longue période, etque vous décidiez de couper l’alimentation,il est important que vous mettiezégalement ce bouton sur la position Arrêt(off).
Cela assurera le maintien de la charge de labatterie du monte-escaliers quand vousn’êtes pas là.

Avant utilisationAvant d’utiliser votre monte-escaliers, LEPLUS IMPORTANT est, s’il vous plaît devous assurer que les escaliers sont vides,sans personne, sans animal domestique ousans objet qui pourraient encombrer votremonte-escaliers.
Puis assurez vous que les accoudoirs, lerepose-pieds et le siège sont dépliés pourêtre utilisés et assurer votre sécurité(Figure 5).

Le monte-escaliers est doté d’uneaffichage de diagnostic (Figure 4) quiaffiche un code pour aider à diagnostiquerdes défauts de fonctionnement. Référezvous à l’Annexe 3 pour une explicationrelative aux codes de diagnostic. Si vousconstatez un problème avec votre monte-escaliers s’il vous plaît examinez l’affichageet notez les codes qui sont affichés. La télécommande (Figure 7) est utiliséepour appeler le monte-escaliers depuis soitle haut/bas des escaliers ou pour faire unpliage automatique pivotant là où il est.Cette commande peut également êtreutilisée par une aide (exemple aidesoignant) si l’utilisateur en attente de leprendre est dans l’incapacité de fairefonctionner le monte-escaliers par lui-même.
L’aide doit toujours être en dehors de lacage d’escaliers avant que le monte-escaliers ne s’arrête.
Le siège, les accoudoirs, le repose-peids devotre Minivator 2000 peuvent être repliés(quand il n’est pas utilisé) pour permettreun meilleur passage lors de la montée oudescente des escaliers (Figure 8).
PRECAUTION DE SECURITE!FAIRE REVENIR LE MONTE-ESCALIERSTOUJOURS DANS SA POSITIOND’ARRIMAGE. EXEMPLE AVEC LESACCOUDOIRS, LE SIEGE ET LE REPOSE-PIEDS REPLIÉS ET LA CHAISE PARALLÈLEAU RAIL COMME INDIQUÉ SUR LA FIGURE8, AINSI LES PASSAGES NE SONT PASOBSTRUÉS.
Repose-pieds manuel (optionnel)
Si votre monte-escaliers a un repose-piedssolidaire manuel le repose-pieds serepliera automatiquement lorsque l’assiseest soulevée. De même le repose-piedsdescendra si l’assise est descendue.
Repose-pieds solidaire électrique–actionné par l’assise (optionnel)
Si votre monte-escaliers a un repose-piedssolidaire électrique, avec l’assise il plieraautomatiquement le repose-pieds lorsquel’assise est soulevée. Il descendraégalement lorsque l’assise est descendue.
Repose-pieds solidaire électrique –actionné depuis l’accoudoir (optionnel)
Si votre monte-escaliers a un repose-piedsélectrique actionné depuis accoudoir ilaura un bouton supplémentaire sousl’accoudoir (Figure 9). Pour descendre lerepose-pieds, utilisez le bouton sousl’accoudoir.
Pour monter le repose-pieds mettez lebouton sur son autre position.
NB Si vous déplacez le repose-pieds alorsque vous êtes assis dans le monte-escalierss’il vous plaît assurez vous que vos piedsn’obstruent pas le repose-pieds pendantqu’il se déplace.

Votre monte-escaliers Minivator fonctionneen appuyant simplement et en restantappuyé sur l’interrupteur defonctionnement dans la direction où vousvoulez aller (Figure 6). Le monte-escalierss’arrêtera automatiquement lorsquel’interrupteur est relâché ou que le monte-escaliers a atteint la fin du trajet.
S’IL VOUS PLAIT NOTEZ:Par sécurité, l’activation initiale du monte-escaliers est retardée de 1 seconde aprèsappui et maintien sur l’interrupteur defonctionnement, pour éviter unfonctionnement accidentel. Sil’interrupteur est relâché alors que lemonte-escaliers est en mouvement, lemonte-escaliers va s’arrêter et un délaid’une seconde va s’écouler avant quel’interrupteur redémarre le monte-escaliers.
Lors du changement de direction du trajetun délai de 3 secondes va s’établir avantque le monte-escaliers commence à sedéplacer.

Un siège pivotant est présent pour vouspermettre de monter/descendre du siègeplus facilement en haut des escaliers envous faisant pivoter sur le palier.
Pour faire fonctionner le siègepivotant, attendez que le monte-escaliers soit arrêté.
Pour faire pivoter le siège soit poussezvers le bas le levier de pivotement (il y ena un de chaque côté du siège) ou tirez levers le haut. Il relâchera les verrous dusiège et vous permettra de déplacer lesiège en poussant depuis le repose-pieds.Lorsque le siège atteint 90 degrés il severrouillera en position.
Vous ne devrez pas essayer de quitter lesiège tant que le siège n’est pasfermement fixé dans sa position de verrou.
Pour pivoter dans la direction opposéesuivez la même procédure, mais poussezdepuis le palier.
Fonctionnement du pivot électrique(optionnel)
Si votre monte-escaliers a un pivot option-nel électrique il n’y aura pas de levierinclus. Pour faire pivoter le siège tirez versle haut l’interrupteur de fonctionnement.Lorsque le monte-escaliers atteindra lehaut des escaliers continuez à tirer vers lehaut l’interrupteur de fonctionnement.
Le monte-escaliers émettra trois bip etpuis le siège pivotera. Lorsque le siège acomplètement pivoté de 90 degrés lesiège s’arrêtera.
Vous ne devez pas essayer de quitter le siègetant qu’il n’a pas tourné complètement.
Pour pivoter dans la direction opposéesuivez la même procédure à l’envers. Pous-sez le levier de fonctionnement vers le bas.
Le siège émettra trois bip et puis aprèsune courte pause il tournera dans ladirection du trajet. Continuez demaintenir le levier vers le bas. Le monte-escaliers va à nouveau émettre trois bipavant de commencer sa descente.
PRECAUTIONS DE SECURITE
NE JAMAISFaire pivoter le siège sans avoir attaché laceinture.
NE JAMAISMonter ou descendre du siège pivotanttant qu’il n’est pas verrouillé en position.
NE JAMAISEssayer de faire fonctionner le siègepivotant alors que le siège est enmouvement. (par sécurité, si vous essayezcela , le monte-escaliers s’arrêtera).
NE JAMAISEssayer de monter ou descendre avec lemonte-escaliers alors que le siège n’est pasen bonne position. (exemple faire facedirectement à la cage d’escaliers).
Dans certaines installations une option derail articulé peut être nécessaire:habituellement pour déplacer le rail hors dutrajet, depuis le seuil de la porte jusqu’aupied des escaliers. Le rail articulé estentièrement automatique et fonctionnerade la manière suivante:
Monter les escaliers
Monter sur le monte-escaliers commeindiqué précédemment et poussez vers lehaut l’interrupteur de fonctionnement. Lemonte-escaliers, après un bref délai,montera les escaliers. Une fois que le monte-escaliers aura passé la partie du rail articuléil s’arrêtera – MAINTENEZ L’INTERRUPTEURAPPUYÉ VERS LE HAUT. A ce moment lesiège émettra trois bip alors que le railarticulé se repliera automatiquement.Lorsque l’articulation est complètementrepliée le monte-escaliers continuera jusqu’au haut des escaliers.
Descendre les escaleirs
Montez sur le monte-escaliers commeindiqué précédemment et poussez vers lebas l’interrupteur de fonctionnement. Lemonte-escaliers, après un bref délai,descendra les escaliers. Avant d’atteindre lapartie du rail articulé il s’arrêtera (Figure 11)– MAINTENEZ L’INTERRUPTEUR APPUYÉVERS LE BAS. A ce moment le siège émettraun bip trois fois alors que le rail articulé sedépliera automatiquement. Lorsque l’artic-ulation est complètement ouverte le monte-escaliers continuera vers le bas des escaliers.
Stationnement du monte-escaliers
LORSQUE LE MONTE-ESCALIERS N’EST PASUTILISÉ IL DOIT ÊTRE MIS DANS SA POSITIONDE STATIONNEMENT AINSI IL NE DOIT PASENCOMBRER LES ESCALIERS. LE MONTE-

ESCALIERS NE SE CHARGE PAS QUAND ILEST STATIONNÉAU BAS DES ESCALIERS.
Pour stationner le monte-escaleirs, appuyezet restez appuyez sur le bouton P sur lamanette (Figure 12). Le monte-escaliersmontera les escaliers pour le mettre dans sapositon de stationnement et l’articulation sepliera automatiquement. SI vous relâchez lebouton P le monte-escaliers ou le rails’arrêtera. Pour continuer, appuyez et restezappuyé sur le bouton P de nouveau. Aprèsun bref délai le déplacement reprendra.
ATTENTIONAVANT DE FAIRE FONCTIONNER LE RAILARTICULÉ S’IL VOUS PLAIT ENLEVEZ TOUS LESOBSTACLES QUI PEUVENT ÊTRE SUR LE RAIL.
En attendant d’être relevé, le rail articulémanuel arrêtera le monte-escaliers sur lespoints de charge, au dessus de l’articulation,ou en haut des escaliers.
Votre monte-escaliers ne fonctionnera pasjusqu’à ce que le rail soit abaissé.

Votre monte-escaliers a des bordssensibles à la pression ainsi que sous le repose-pieds, qui arrêteront automatiquement lemonte-escaliers s’ils détectent un obstacle.
NE JAMAISUtiliser le monte-escaliers sans utiliser la ceinture ou tout autre ceinture de sécurité ou unharnais.
NE JAMAISUtiliser le monte-escaliers en étant debout dessus.
TOUJOURSGarder ses pieds sur le repose-pieds pendant que le monte-escaliers est en mouvement, etessayer d’éviter que les pieds pendent le long des bords du repose-pieds.

MISE EN GARDESi le régulateur de vitesse est activé il doit être réinitialisé uniquement par une personnecompétente, exemple un vendeur certifié Minivator. L’activation du régulateur de vitesseest indiquée quand le monte-escaliers est incapable de descendre les escaliers et l’affichagede diagnostic indique 0.

Fonctionnement de votre Minivator 2000
Dans le cas peu probable où le monte-escaliers a une panne d’électricité totaleou continue après le dernier rail il y a uneprocédure de fonctionnement manuelled’urgence. S’il vous plaît suivez ces étapes:
1. Eteignez le monte-escaliers avec la clé.
2. Insérez la poignée de fonctionnementmanuel d’urgence (Figure 13).
3. Tournez la poignée dans la directionindiquée pour le mouvement souhaité.
4. Lorsque la position souhaitée estatteinte enlevez le remontoir manuel etmettez en marche le monte-escaliers.

Votre monte-escaliers a des bords sécurisésau dessous du repose-pieds et sur lemonte-escaliers lui-même qui arrêteront lemonte-escaliers si un objet venait à sepiéger dans le repose-pieds (Figure 14).
Pour enlever l’objet éloignez le monte-escaliers de l’objet puis enlevezl’objet de la cage d’escaliers. Enfinprocédez normalement pour utiliser votremonte-escaliers.

Entretien de la batterie et
chargementVotre monte-escaliers Minivator est alimentépar batterie et continuera à fonctionnerpendant un certain temps même si vous avezune coupure de courant . Vous pourreznormalement monter et descendre lesescaliers au moins 10 fois sans avoir besoin derecharger les batteries. En particulier lorsd’une coupure de courant, cependant vousdevez toujours vous assurer qu’il y a assez delumière pour permettre un déplacementsécurisé, et spécialement à chaque extrémitédu rail là où vous mettez en marche etarrêter le monte-escaliers.
Votre rail de monte-escaliers a des points decharge, Normalement en haut et en bas de lacage d’escaliers. Votre monte-escaliiers doitêtre laissé sur un de ces points dechargement lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé pours’assurer que les batteries soient chargées. Sile monte-escaliers émet un bip et/ou quel’affichage indique un "2" lorsqu’il est laissésur un point de charge et qu’il n’est pasutilisé IL N’EST PAS EN CHARGE. S’il vous plaîtvérifiez que l’alimentation électrique pour lemonte-escaliers est sur marche. Si elle est surmarche et que le bip continue s’il vous plaîtcontactez votre vendeur ou appelez leservice client minivator au 08700 118282.
MaintenanceIl n’y pas de partie réparable par l’utilisateurdans votre monte-escaliers. Si un dégât estvisible ou si votre monte-escaliers sonne ou aun comportement inhabituel contactezMinivator ou votre vendeur certifiéimmédiatement. Nous conseillons de faireune visite de maintenance de votre monte-escaliers après les 12 premiers mois et aprèsAU MOINS TOUS LES 12 MOIS.
Soin et nettoyageAvant le nettoyage de toute partie de votremonte-escaliers Minivator s’il vous plaîtassurez vous d’avoir enlevé la clé.
Les monte-escaliers Minivator sont fabriquésavec des matériaux différents, tous avec dessurfaces nettoyables facilement. Le siège etla garniture peuvent être essuyés avec unchiffon humidifié mais NON MOUILLÉ et avecune petite quantité de liquide à vaisselle.
S’IL VOUS PLAÎT N’UTILSEZ pas de nettoyantabrasif, avec de la javel ou à base de solvant,car cela endommagerait le siège.
Pour nettoyer le rail, en premier montez lemonte-escaliers en haut des escaliers. Le railpeut être nettoyé avec un chiffon humidifié.Lorsque presque tout le rail est nettoyé,faites descendre le monte-escaliers en basdes escaliers et finissez de nettoyer le rail envous assurant qu’aucun débris de nettoyagene soit tombé dedans.
Pour maintenir votre monte-escaliersMinivator en bon état mécanique, il estrecommandé de le faire maintenir par untechnicien qualifié.
Mise au rebut devotre monte-escaliersVotre monte-escaliers a été fabriqué en util-isant des matériaux et composants de hautequalité qui peuvent être recyclés et réutilisés.
Le symbole de poubelle barréed’une croix indique que votremonte-escaliers est soumis à ladirective Européenne 2002/96/EC,qui régit la mise au rebut de

Su silla elevadora Minivator tieneadaptado un interruptor de llave (Figura 2).
La silla elevadora no se puede operar a noser que la llave esté insertada y en laposición de encendido.
El interruptor de llave ha sido provistopara permitirle bloquear la sillaelevadora para prevenir que seautilizada por otros (por ejemplo niños).
Sin embargo, se puede dejar en la posiciónde encendido si se desea.
Si usted quita la llave por razones de seseguridad, por favor asegúrese deponerla en un sitio seguro.
Si el interruptor de llave está en posiciónde apagado la silla se seguirá cargando.
Así como un interruptor de llave su sillaelevadora también tiene adaptado uninterruptor de encendido/apagado (Figura3) en el panel frontal, parte inferior de lasilla.
Asegúrese que quede en posición de‘ENCENDIDO’. La pantalla dediagnóstico de fallas se iluminará paraindicar esto.
Si va estar fuera de casa por un largoperíodo, y decide apagar la sección motor,es importante que también apague la sillaen su interruptor de encendido/apagado.
Esto asegurará que las baterías de la sillapermanezcan cargadas mientras estéausente.

El control remoto (Figura 7) se utiliza parallamar al elevador ya sea arriba o abajo delas escaleras o para operar una bisagraplegable activada en donde se ajusta. Estecontrol se puede utilizar también por unasistente cuando el usuario no puedeoperar la silla elevadora por si mismo.
El asistente siempre debe mantenersealejado de la escalera hasta que la sillaelevadora esté fija.
El asiento, apoya pies, apoya brazos de suMinivator 2000 se pueden plegar (Cuandono se utilizan) para permitir pasar y bajarlas escaleras más fácilmente (Figura 8).
PRECAUCIÓN DE SEGURIDADSIEMPRE REGRESE LA ESCALERA A SUPOSICIÓN DE REPOSO. POR EJEMPLO CONEL ASIENTO, APOYA PIES, Y APOYABRAZOS PLEGADOS Y LA SILLA PARALELAAL GUIA COMO SE MUESTRA EN LAFIGURA 8, PARA NO OBSTRUIR LASSALIDAS.

Si su silla elevadora tiene adaptado unenlace de lámina de pies manual, este seplegará automáticamente hacia un ladocuando se levante la base del asiento.También bajará la lámina de pies cuandose baje la base del asiento.
Enlace de la lámina de pies eléctrico –Operada desde la base del asiento (opcional)
Si su silla elevadora tiene adaptado unenlace de la lámina de pies eléctrico operadodesde la base del asiento se plegará automá-ticamente hacia un lado cuando se levante labase del asiento. También bajará la láminade pies cuando se baje la base del asiento.

Si su silla elevadora tiene adaptado unenlace de lámina de pies eléctrico operadodesde el brazo, tendrá un interruptoradicional debajo del brazo (Figura 9). Parabajar la lámina para pies, utilice elinterruptor de balancín debajo del brazo.
Para levantar lámina de pies mueva el inte-rruptor de balancín a su posición alternativa.
Nota: Si mueve la lámina para pies mientrasestá sentado en la silla elevadora por favorasegúrese que sus pies no obstruyan lalámina para pies mientras está enmovimiento.

Su silla elevadora Minivator es operadasimplemente al presionar y mantenerpresionado la palanca de operación en ladirección en la cual desea viajar (Figura 6).La silla elevadora se detendráautomáticamente cuando se suelte lapalanca o la silla elevadora haya alcanzadoel final del trayecto.
POR FAVOR NOTAR:Con interés en la seguridad, la activacióninicial de la silla elevadora se retrasa 1segundo desde presionar y mantenerpresionado la palanca de operación, paraevitar una operación accidental. Si sesuelta la palanca mientras el elevador estáen movimiento, el elevador se detendrá yhabrá un retraso de 1 segundo antes deque el control reinicie el elevador.
Cuando se cambia la dirección del trayectoel retraso será de 3 segundos antes de queel elevador comience a moverse.

Se provee de un asiento oscilador parapermitirle montar/desmontar el asiento másfácilmente en la parte superior de lasescaleras girándolo en el descanso de laescalera.
Para operar el asiento oscilador, esperehasta que se haya detenido la sillaelevadora.
Para girar el asiento sujete ya sea (hay uno aambos lados del asiento) la palanca deoscilación hacia abajo o hálela hacia arriba.Esto liberará el bloqueo del asiento y lepermitirá mover el asiento volteándoloapartándolo de la lámina para pies. Cuandoel asiento alcance los 90 grados se fijará enposición.
No debe intentar dejar el asiento hasta quese haya “fijado” firmemente en su posiciónde bloqueo.
Para oscilar en la posición opuesta siga elmismo procedimiento, pero aléjelo deldescanso de la escalera.
Oscilador operado por electricidad(opcional)Si su silla elevadora tiene adaptado un oscila-dor opcional eléctrico no habrá palancas deoscilación adaptadas. Para oscilar el asientosujete el control de operación en direcciónhacia arriba. La silla elevadora alcance laparte superior de la escalera continúe suje-tando el control de operación en direcciónhacia arriba.
La silla elevadora pitará tres veces y luego elasiento oscilará. Cuando el asiento hayaoscilado totalmente en 90 grados el asientose detendrá.
No debe intentar dejar el asiento hasta quehaya rotado totalmente.
Para oscilar en dirección opuesta siga el mismoprocedimiento en reversa. Presione la palancade operación en dirección hacia abajo.
El asiento pitará tres veces y luego despuésde una corta pausa rotará a la posición decontrol. Continúe sujetando la palanca deoperación en dirección hacia abajo. La sillaelevadora pitará tres veces nuevamente antesde comenzar su descenso.
PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
NUNCAOscile el asiento si n el cinturón de regazoasegurado.
NUNCAMonte o desmonte el asiento oscilador a noser que esté bloqueado en su posición.
NUNCATrate de operar el asiento oscilador mientrasque la silla elevadora esté en movimiento.(Como una precaución de seguridad, si trata deutilizarlo mientras que el elevador está en movi-miento, causará que el elevador se detenga).
NUNCAIntente ir hacia arriba o abajo de la escalera ano ser que el asiento esté en su posicióncorrecta (por ejemplo de cara directamentehacia la escalera).
En algunas instalaciones la opción de un guíaabatible puede ser necesaria: usualmente paramover el guía fuera del camino de una puertade entrada al pie de las escaleras. El guíaabatible es totalmente automático enoperación y funcionará como si indica acontinuación:
Subiendo las escalerasMonte la silla elevadora como se indicóanteriormente y presione el control deoperación en dirección hacia arriba. La sillaelevadora, luego de un corto retraso, semoverá hacia arriba de las escaleras. Una vezque el elevador ha pasado la sección de guíaabatible se detendrá – MANTENGAPRESIONADO EN DIRECCIÓN HACIA ARRIBA. Eneste momento el asiento pitará tres vecesmientras que el guía abatible se doblaautomáticamente así mismo hacia afuera.Cuando el guía esté completamente plegado lasilla elevadora continuará hacia arriba de lasescaleras.
Bajando las escalerasMonte la silla elevadora como se indicóanteriormente y presione el control deoperación en dirección hacia abajo. La escalera,luego de un corto retraso, se moverá haciaabajo de las escaleras. Antes de que el elevadorhaya alcanzado la sección de guía abatible sedetendrá (Figura 11) – MANTENGA ELCONTROL PRESIONADO EN DIRECCIÓN HACIAABAJO.
En este momento el asiento pitará tres vecesmientras que el guía abatible se doblaautomáticamente así mismo abriéndose.Cuando el guía esté completamente abierto lasilla elevadora continuará hacia abajo de lasescaleras.
Estacionando la Silla ElevadoraCUANDO LA SILLA ELEVADORA NO ESTÁ ENUSO DEBE MOVERSE A SU POSICIÓN DEESTACIONAMIENTO DE MODO QUE NO CAUSEUNA OBSTRUCCIÓN.
Guía abatibleEléctrico(opcional)
LA SILLA ELEVADORA NO CARGA CUANDOESTÁ ESTACIONADA EN EL FONDO DE LASESCALERAS.
Para estacionar la silla elevadora, presione ymantenga presionado el botón P en elauricular (Figura 12). El elevador irá haciaarriba de las escaleras a su posición deestacionado y la bisagra se doblaráautomáticamente. Si usted suelta el botón P elelevador o el guía dejará de moverse. Paracontinuar, presione y tenga presionado elbotón P nuevamente. Después de un cortoretraso el movimiento empezará nuevamente.
ADVERTENCIAANTES DE OPERAR EL GUIA ABATIBLE PORFAVOR QUITE CUALQUIER OBSTÁCULO QUEPUDIESE OBSTRUIR EL GUIA.
Antes de elevar el guía abatible manualestacione la silla elevadora en los puntos decarga, sobre el guía, o en la parte superior delas escaleras.
Su silla elevadora no funcionará a no ser queel guía se haya bajado.

Seguridad y mantenimientoRecomendamos que de mantenimiento a su silla elevadora luego de los primeros 12 meses yen lo posterior POR LO MENOS CADA 12 MESES.
Este trabajo debe llevarse a cabo por una persona competente, por ejemplo un distribuidoraprobado de Minivator.
Si tiene alguna duda, por favor contacte al Departamento de Mantenimiento de Minivator al08700 118282.
Si usted tiene una silla elevadora y ya no la necesita más su distribuidor o Minivator podríanestar interesados en comprarla.
Advertencias y precaucionesNUNCAPermita que más de una persona utilice la silla elevadora al mismo tiempo.
La capacidad de carga máxima es de 115kg. Si tiene una versión de trabajo pesado lacapacidad máxima es de 137kg.
NUNCAPermita que los niños jueguen sobre o con la silla elevadora.
NUNCAPermita que el agua entre en contacto con los componentes de la silla elevadora. Si tieneque transportar líquidos HÁGALO CON CUIDADO.
NUNCAColoque objetos en el guía o deje objetos en las escaleras, donde podrían entrar encontacto con la operación del elevador. Su silla elevadora tiene adaptados bordes lateralessensitivos a la presión y una bandeja inferior sobre la lámina para pies, los cuales detendránautomáticamente elevador si este detecta cualquier obstrucción.
NUNCAUtilice la silla elevadora sin utilizar el cinturón de regazo, o cualquier otro cinturón deseguridad o arnés adaptado.
NUNCAUtilice la silla elevadora en una posición horizontal.
SIEMPREMantenga sus PIES SOBRE LA LÁMINA PARA PIES mientras que la silla elevadora está enmovimiento, y trate de evitar que sus pies cuelguen sobre los bordes de la lámina para pies.
NUNCAOscile el asiento hasta que el elevador haya parado al final o inicio de la escalera.
SIEMPREDoble la silla cuando no esté en uso para evitar obstruir salidas.
ADVERTENCIA Si el control de exceso de velocidad se activa sólo debe reiniciarse por una personacompetente, por ejemplo un distribuidor aprobado de Minivator. La activación del controlde exceso de velocidad se indica cuando el elevador no puede bajar las escaleras y lapantalla de diagnóstico muestra un 0.

En un evento poco probable de que elelevador tenga una falla eléctrica total oque corra sobre la parada del guía final,hay un procedimiento de bobinadomanual de emergencia. Por favor sigaestos pasos:
1. Apague la silla elevadora con la llave.
2. Inserte la perilla de bobinado manual deemergencia (Figura 13).
3. Gire la perilla en la dirección indicadapara el movimiento requerido.
4. Cuando se alcance la posición deseadaquite el rebobinador manual y enciendael elevador.

Su silla elevadora tiene adaptados bordesde seguridad en la parte inferior delapoya pies y en el mismo elevador quedetendrán la silla elevadora si algúnartículo queda atrapado por el apoya pies(Figura 14).
Para quitar el artículo dé reversa a la sillaelevadora para alejarla del objeto luegoquite el objeto de la escalera. Procedanormalmente con su silla elevadora.

Cuidado de rutina y mantenimiento

Cuidado y cargade batería
Su silla elevadora es alimentada con unabatería y continuará funcionando por unperíodo de tiempo aún si tiene un apagón deluz. Normalmente debería poder moversehacia arriba o hacia abajo de las escaleras porlo menos unas 10 veces sin necesidad de car-gar las baterías. Sin embargo, particularmenteen el caso de un apagón de luz, siempre debeasegurarse de que haya suficiente luz parapermitir un desplazamiento seguro, yespecialmente a cada extreme del guía endonde usted se sube o baja del ascensor.
El guía de su silla elevadora tiene adaptadopuntos de carga, normalmente encima o enla parte inferior de la escalera. Su sillaelevadora debe estar a la izquierda en uno deestos puntos de carga cuando no está en usopara asegurar que se carguen las baterías. Sila silla elevadora emite un pitido y/o lapantalla muestra un “2” cuando se deja enun punto de carga y no está en uso NO ESTÁCARGANDO. Por favor verifique que lafuente de energía de la silla elevadora estéconectada. Si está conectada y el pitidocontinúa por favor contacte a sus distribuidoro al Departamento de Mantenimiento deMinivator al 08700 118282.
MantenimientoNo hay partes útiles dañadas adaptadas a susilla elevadora. Si hay cualquier daño visible osu silla elevadora suena o se comporta fuerade lo normal contacta inmediatamente aMinivator o su distribuidor aprobadoinmediatamente. Le aconsejamos que démantenimiento a su silla elevadora despuésde los primeros 12 meses y en lo posteriorPOR LO MENOS CADA 12 MESES.
Cuidado ylimpieza
Antes de limpiar cualquier parte de su sillaelevadora Minivator, por favor asegúrese deque haya quitado la llave.
La silla elevadora Minivator está hecha deuna variedad de materiales, todos consuperficies “fáciles de limpiar”. El asiento ylas cubiertas del cuerpo se pueden limpiarcon un paño húmedo, NO MOJADO, y unapequeña cantidad de líquido de lavado.
POR FAVOR NO utilice limpiadores abrasivos,cloro o limpiadores con disolventes comobase, ya que estos dañarán el asiento.
Para limpiar los guíaes, primero envíe la sillaelevadora a la parte superior de las escaleras.Se puede limpiar el guía con un pañohúmedo. Cuando la mayor parte del guía estélimpia, mueva la silla elevadora hasta abajode las escaleras y termine de limpiar el guíaasegurando que ningún desperdicio delimpieza caiga sobre este.
Para mantener su silla elevadora Minivator enbuena condición mecánica, se recomiendaque se lleven abajo mantenimientos regularespor ingenieros de mantenimiento calificados.
Desecho de susilla elevadora
Su silla elevadora se ha fabricado utilizandomateriales y componentes de alta calidad, loscuales se pueden reciclar o reutilizar.
El símbolo del tacho con ruedascon una cruz indica que su sillaelevadora está cubierta por laDirectriz europea 2002/96/EC, lacual controla el desecho de
desperdicios eléctricos y equipo electrónico.
Esto significa que su silla elevadora no debedesecharse como un desperdicio casero sinoser desechado apropiadamente para reciclaje.
El reciclar este producto ayudará a protegerel medio ambiente asegurando que todos losmateriales contenidos en la silla elevadorasean manejados apropiadamente.

Funzionamento del Minivator 2000
Il montascale Minivator è dotato di uninterruttore a chiave (Figura 2).
Il montascale non può funzionare se lachiave non viene inserita e fatta ruotarefino alla posizione on.
L’interruttore a chiave viene fornito perconsentirle di bloccare il montascaleevitandone così l’utilizzo da parte dialtre persone (ad esempio, bambini).
Tuttavia, se lo desidera, potrà lasciare lachiave nella posizione on.
Qualora dovesse togliere la chiave permotivi di sicurezza, la preghiamo diprovvedere a riporla in un luogo sicuro.
Se l’interruttore a chiave viene riportatoad off, il montascale continuerà comunquea caricarsi.
Oltre che di un interruttore a chiave, ilmontascale è provvisto di un interruttoreon/off (Figura 3), situato in basso sulpannello frontale del montascale.
Accertarsi di lasciare l’interruttore sullaposizione ON. Il pannello divisualizzazione guasti sarà, a questopunto, illuminato.
Se intende allontanarsi da casa per periodilunghi e decide di staccare la corrente, èimportante che si ricordi anche di scollegareil montascale utilizzando questointerruttore on/off.
Questo farà sì che le batterie delmontascale rimangano cariche durante lasua assenza.

Prima di utilizzare il montascale èQUANTO MAI IMPORTANTE verificare chele scale siano sgombre da persone, animalio oggetti di qualsiasi tipo che potrebberoostacolarne il movimento.
Quindi, per tutelare la sua sicurezza, lapreghiamo di verificare che i braccioli, ilpoggiapiedi e la seduta siano aperti epronti all’uso (Figura 5).

Il radiocomando (Figura 7) serve arichiamare il montascale verso la cima/ilfondo delle scale o per azionare ilmeccanismo di ribaltamento automaticodel binario, ove disponibile. Questocomando può inoltre venire utilizzato daun assistente qualora lei non fosse in gradodi azionare da solo il montascale.
L’assistente dovrà sempre rimanere ad unacerta distanza dalla scala fino a quando ilmontascale non si sarà completamentearrestato.
La seduta, i braccioli ed il poggiapiedi delMinivator 2000 possono venire ripiegatiquando l’apparecchio non è utilizzato, perevitare di ingombrare inutilmente le scale(Figura 8).
PRECAUZIONI DI SICUREZZA!RIPORTARE SEMPRE IL MONTASCALE ALLAPOSIZIONE DI RIPOSO, CIOÈ CONBRACCIOLI, SEDUTA E POGGIAPIEDIRIPIEGATI, E LO SCHIENALE ERETTOPARALLELO AL BINARIO COME MOSTRATONELLA FIGURA 8, IN MODO DA NONOSTRUIRE IL PASSAGGIO.
Collegamento manuale della base delpoggiapiedi (opzionale)
Se il suo montascale ha in dotazione unpoggiapiedi a collegamento manuale,questo si ripiegherà automaticamentequando si solleva la seduta. Allo stessomodo si abbasserà automaticamentequando la seduta viene abbassata.
Collegamento motorizzato della base delpoggiapiedi–attivato dalla seduta (opzionale)
Se il suo montascale ha in dotazione unpoggiapiedi a collegamento motorizzatocon la seduta, questo si ripiegheràautomaticamente ogni volta che la sedutaverrà sollevata. Allo stesso modo, esso siabbasserà automaticamente quando laseduta viene abbassata.
Collegamento motorizzato dalla base delpoggiapiedi–attivato dal bracciolo (opzionale)
Se il suo montascale ha in dotazione unpoggiapiedi a collegamento motorizzatocon il bracciolo, sotto il bracciolo potràindividuare un interruttore aggiuntivo(Figura 9). Per abbassare la base del poggia-piedi, dovrà utilizzare questo interruttorebasculante che si trova sotto il bracciolo.
Per sollevare la base del poggiapiedibasterà spostare l’interruttore da unaposizione all’altra.
NB: se intende ripiegare la base delpoggiapiedi mentre è seduto sulmontascale, si assicuri di non ostacolarne ilmovimento con i piedi.

Per far funzionare il montascale Minivatorè sufficiente premere e mantenere premutala leva di comando a joystick nella direzionenella quale desidera muoversi (Figura 6). Ilmontascale si fermerà automaticamentequando verrà rilasciata la leva di comandoovvero quando il montascale avràraggiunto il termine del proprio tragitto.
LA PREGHIAMO DI NOTARE:Per motivi di sicurezza, l’attivazione inizialedel montascale avviene con un secondo diritardo rispetto a quando la leva di comandoa joystick viene premuta, per evitare che ilmontascale venga attivato accidentalmente.Se la leva di comando a joystick viene rila-sciata quando il montascale è in movimento,il montascale si arresterà e prima che la levadi comando a joystick possa avviare nuova-mente il montascale dovrà passare un secondo.
Qualora dovesse invertire la direzione dimovimento, dovrà attendere 3 secondiprima che il montascale inizi a muoversi.

Il montascale è provvisto di una poltroncinagirevole per consentirle di salire/scenderefacilmente dal montascale in cima alle scalefacendo ruotare la poltroncina verso ilpianerottolo.
Per azionare il meccanismo di rotazionedella poltroncina, occorre attendere ilcompleto arresto del montascale.
Per far ruotare la poltroncina, tenerepremuta verso il basso o tirare verso l’altouna delle due leve di rotazione (situate ai latidella poltroncina). Questo rilascerà ilmeccanismo di blocco della poltroncina,consentendole di farla ruotare facendopressione sulla base del poggiapiedi. Quandola poltroncina avrà compiuto una rotazionedi 90 gradi, si bloccherà in quella posizione.
Le raccomandiamo di non cercare di alzarsidalla poltroncina fino a quando questa nonsi sarà completamente bloccata nella nuovaposizione con un “clic”.
Per ruotare nella direzione opposta occorreràseguire la medesima procedura, questa voltafacendo pressione sul pianerottolo.
PRECAUZIONI DI SICUREZZAMAIfar ruotare la sedia senza prima avereallacciato la cintura di sicurezza addominale.
MAIsalire o scendere dalla poltroncina girevolesalvo quando questa si trovi nella posizionedi blocco.
MAItentare di azionare il meccanismo di rotazionementre il montascale è in movimento. (Comemisura precauzionale, un eventuale tentativodi azionamento del meccanismo durante ilmovimento del montascale, ne provocheràl’arresto).
MAItentare di far scendere o salire il montascalefino a quando la poltroncina non si trovinella posizione corretta. (Cioè rivolta versol’altro lato della scalinata).
In alcune situazioni potrebbe rivelarsinecessaria l’installazione di un binarioribaltabile, di solito per liberare dal binario ilvano di una porta situata in fondo alle scale. Ilbinario ribaltabile è completamentemotorizzato e funziona in questo modo:
Per salire le scaleSalire sul montascale come indicatoprecedentemente, spingendo la leva dicomando a joystick nella direzione di salita. Ilmontascale, dopo un breve intervallo,comincerà a salire. Una volta che il montascaleavrà oltrepassato la parte ribaltabile delbinario si fermerà. – CONTINUARE A SPINGERELA LEVA DI COMANDO A JOYSTICK NELLADIREZIONE DI SALITA. A questo punto ilmontascale emetterà tre beep mentre il binarioinizierà a ripiegarsi. Quando il binario si saràcompletamente ripiegato il montascalecontinuerà il suo percorso in salita.
Per scendere le scaleSalire sul montascale come indicatoprecedentemente, spingendo la leva dicomando a joystick nella direzione di discesa. Ilmontascale, dopo un breve intervallo,comincerà a scendere. Prima di raggiungere laparte di binario ripiegata, il montascale siarresterà (Figura 11) – CONTINUARE A TENEREPREMUTA LA LEVA DI COMANDO A JOYSTICKNELLA DIREZIONE DI DISCESA.
A questo punto il montascale emetterà trebeep mentre il binario inizierà ad aprirsi.Quando il binario sarà completamente aperto,il montascale continuerà la propria discesa.
Posizione a riposoQUANDO IL MONTASCALE NON È IN USO, SIDOVRÀ LASCIARE NELLA POSIZIONE DI RIPOSOIN MODO DA NON OSTRUIRE IL PASSAGGIO.
QUANDO VIENE LASCIATO IN FONDO ALLESCALE, IL MONTASCALE NON SI RICARICA.
Binario ribaltabilemotorizzato
(opzionale)
Per mettere il montascale nella posizione diriposo, premere e mantenere premuto ilpulsante P sul radiocomando (Figura 12). Ilmontascale arriverà in cima alle scale e sidisporrà nella posizione a riposo ed il binario siripiegherà automaticamente. Se il pulsante Pviene rilasciato, il montascale e/o il binario sifermeranno. Per continuare premere e tenerepremuto ancora una volta il pulsante P. Dopoun breve lasso di tempo l’apparecchiaturatornerà a muoversi.
AVVERTENZAPRIMA DI AZIONARE IL BINARIO RIBALTABILELE RACCOMANDIAMO DI RIMUOVEREEVENTUALI OSTACOLI CHE POTREBBEROOSTRUIRNE IL MOVIMENTO.
Prima di sollevare manualmente il binarioribaltabile, assicurarsi che il montascale si trovisu una delle stazioni di carica, oltre la cernieradel binario o in cima alle scale.
Il montascale non funzionerà fino a quando ilbinario non sarà stato abbassato.
Binario ribaltabilead azionamento manuale (opzionale)
Meccanismo di rotazione motorizzato(opzionale)
Se il suo montascale è provvisto di un mecca-nismo di rotazione motorizzato (opzionale)non ci saranno leve di rotazione. Per ruotarela poltroncina dovrà tirare verso l’alto la levadi comando a joystick. Quando il montascalearriverà in cima alla rampa, occorrerà conti-nuare a tenere la leva di comando a joysticktirata verso l’alto. Il montascale emetterà trebeep e poi la poltroncina inizierà a ruotare.Una volta completata una rotazione di 90gradi, la poltroncina si fermerà.
Le raccomandiamo di non cercare di alzarsidalla poltroncina fino al completamentodella rotazione.
Per ruotare nella direzione opposta occorreràseguire la medesima procedura in sensoinverso. Occorrerà spingere la leva di comandoverso il basso. Il montascale emetterà trebeep e, dopo una breve pausa, ruoteràtornando alla posizione di partenza.Continuare a mantenere premuta la leva dicomando verso il basso. Il montascaleemetterà nuovamente un segnale di beepper tre volte prima di iniziare la sua discesa.

Sicurezza e manutenzioneLe raccomandiamo di provvedere ad un intervento di manutenzione del montascale dopo iprimi 12 mesi di utilizzo e, successivamente, ALMENO UNA VOLTA OGNI 12 MESI.
Questo intervento dovrà venire eseguito da personale competente, cioè da unconcessionario approvato da Minivator.
In caso di dubbi la preghiamo di rivolgersi al settore manutenzione di Minivator al numero(++44) 08700118282.
Qualora lei fosse proprietario di un montascale e non ne avesse più l’esigenza Minivator, o ilconcessionario, potrebbero essere interessati all’acquisto.
Avvertenze e precauzioniMAIlasciar utilizzare il montascale a più di una persona alla volta.
La portata massima è 115kg. Se dispone di un montascale versione carichi pesanti, laportata massima sarà di 137kg.
MAIlasciare giocare dei bambini sul montascale o con il montascale.
MAIlasciare che i componenti del montascale che vengano a contatto con l’acqua. Se devetrasportare liquidi la preghiamo di PRESTARE LA MASSIMA ATTENZIONE.
MAIlasciare alcun oggetto sul binario o sulle scale dove è possibile che vengano a contatto conil montascale in funzionamento. La pedana del poggiapiedi ed i bordi antinfortunio sonosensibili alla pressione e, nel caso vengano rilevati degli ostacoli, ciò provocheràl’immediato arresto del montascale.
MAIutilizzare il montascale senza indossare la cintura di sicurezza addominale o altre eventualicinture o dispositivi di sicurezza presenti.
MAIutilizzare il montascale stando in posizione eretta.
SEMPREtenere i PIEDI SULLA PEDANA mentre il montascale è in movimento ed evitare che i piedisporgano dal bordo della pedana.
MAIruotare la poltroncina fino al completo arresto del montascale in cima o in fondo alle scale.
SEMPREripiegare la seduta quando il montascale non viene utilizzato, per evitare di ostruire ilpassaggio.
AVVERTENZASe è il limitatore di velocità è entrato in funzione, il resettaggio dovrà venire effettuato dapersonale competente, cioè da un concessionario Minivator autorizzato. Si potrà verificareche il limitatore di velocità è entrato in funzione quando risulti impossibile riportare ilmontascale in fondo alle scale e il visualizzatore mostri il codice 0.

Funzionamento del Minivator 2000
Nella remota eventualità che si verifichi unguasto all’alimentazione del montascale oche questo avanzi di propria iniziativa finoal termine del binario, esiste unaprocedura che prevede, in casi diemergenza, l’utilizzo di comandi manuali.La preghiamo di seguire quanto indicato:
1. Disattivare il montascale con la chiave.
2. Inserire il pomello di emergenza per ilcontrollo manuale (Figura 13).
3. Ruotare il pomello nella direzioneindicata per il comando necessario.
4. Una volta raggiunta la posizionedesiderata rimuovere il pomello eaccendere l’interruttore.
In caso di dubbi la preghiamo di rivolgersial suo concessionario autorizzatoMinivator o di chiamare direttamenteMinivator al numero (++44) 08700118282.
Il montascale è provvisto di bordiantinfortunio sul poggiapiedi e sulmontascale stesso; questi provocanol’arresto del montascale nell’eventualitàche oggetti di qualsiasi tipo rimanganoincastrati tra il poggiapiedi e le scale(Figura 14).
Per rimuovere questi oggetti occorre farindietreggiare il montascale e farrimuovere gli oggetti in questione dallascala. Successivamente, azionare ilmontascale secondo la proceduraconsueta.

Cura e messa incarica della batteria
Il montascale Minivator funziona a batteria econtinuerà a funzionare per un certo periododi tempo anche nell’eventualità che salti lacorrente. In condizioni normali sarà possibilesalire e scendere le scale sul montascale peralmeno 10 minuti senza che sia necessarioricaricare le batterie. In particolare, nel casoin cui salti la corrente, la preghiamocomunque di accertarsi di avere illuminazionesufficiente a consentire spostamenti sicuri,specialmente alle estremità del binario,laddove si sale e si scende dal montascale.
Il binario del montascale è provvisto di stazio-ni di ricarica, normalmente in cima e in fondoalle scale. Le consigliamo di lasciare il monta-scale fissato ad una ,di queste stazioni diricarica quando non viene utilizzato per assi-curare la ricarica alle batterie. Se il montascaleemette un beep e/o il visualizzatore mostra un“2” quando il montascale si trova fissato aduna delle stazioni di ricarica e non vieneutilizzato, questo indica che il montascaleNON SI STA RICARICANDO. La preghiamo dicontrollare che l’alimentatore del montascalesia acceso. Se è acceso, ma continua a sentire ilbeep allora la preghiamo di rivolgersi al suoconcessionario o direttamente al settoremanutenzione di Minivator al numero (+44) 08700 118282.
ManutenzioneIl montascale non ha parti che richiedonomanutenzione da parte dell’utente. Se vi sonodanni visibili oppure il montascale emettesuoni insoliti o funziona in modo strano la pre-ghiamo di contattare immediatamenteMinivator o il suo concessionario autorizzato.Le raccomandiamo di provvedere ad un inter-vento di manutenzione del montascale dopo iprimi 12 mesi di utilizzo e, successivamente,ALMENO UNA VOLTA OGNI 12 MESI.
Cura e puliziaPrima di pulire una qualsiasi parte delmontascale Minivator la preghiamo di rimuo-vere la chiave il montascale Minivator è stato
prodotto con una varietà di materiali aventisuperfici facili da strofinare. Il coprisedia e ilcopri schienale si possono pulire con unpanno umido – non bagnato – e una piccolaquantità di detersivo per piatti liquido.
SI PREGA DI NON utilizzare detergentiabrasivi o a base di candeggina o solventipoiché questi danneggerebbero la seduta.
Per pulire il binario, far spostare prima ilmontascale in cima alle scale. Il binario sipotrà pulire con un panno umido. Quando lamaggior parte del binario sarà stata pulitaspostare il montascale in fondo alle scale efinire di pulire il binario, assicurandosi chenon vi cadano residui di sporcizia.
Per mantenere il buon funzionamento delmontascale Minivator si raccomanda di farsvolgere regolari interventi di manutenzionea tecnici qualificati.
Smaltimento delmontascale
Il montascale è stato prodotto utilizzandomateriali e componenti di alta qualità,riciclabili e riutilizzabili.
Il simbolo raffigurante il bidonedella spazzatura con ruotebarrato da una croce indica che ilmontascale rientra nella Direttiva2002/96/CE del Parlamento
Europeo e del Consiglio, che disciplina losmaltimento dei rifiuti di apparecchiatureelettriche ed elettroniche.
Questo indica che il montascale non vasmaltito come rifiuto urbano ma va smaltitoin modo idoneo così da poter essere riciclato.
Il riciclo di questo prodotto contribuirà allaprotezione dell’ambiente assicurando chetutti i materiali contenuti nel montascalesono stati gestiti in modo idoneo.
