of advertisement in open places such as Railway

station, Bus stand etc.

by the receiving sets owned by the public.

broadcast along with popular

programmes.

Television is the latest medium of mass

communication and is now extensively

used for advertisement. It uses audio –

visual appeals to contact consumers of

general utility products.

DIRECT MAIL ADVERTISING

It is used to send

message directly to

the customer.

WINDOW DISPLAY

Under this, products are displayed artistically laid out

windows infront of shops.

SPECIALITY ADVERTISING

Under this method, Speciality articles such

as diaries, Pen-holders, Key chains, Purses,

Paper weights etc are offered to present and

prospective customers. The name and

address of the advertiser is printed on the

speciality items.
