How people are using the booth
• To iden4fy preferences and favourite works • Discuss social issues • To talk about the formal quali4es or art historical significance of the work
• Tell personal stories • Talk about the power and relevance • Thank the AGO • To cri4que (few – less than 2 videos a day) • To create – rap, sing or show drawings (1-‐2 a day)
Stats so far…
• Over 700 video submissions Feb 3 – March 16 • 30-‐70 video submissions per day (weekend, late-‐night peaks)
• 70 % of the content is suitable for web • 15-‐30 % are deleted – they don’t contain content – simply inappropriate
Lessons Learned • Ins4tu4onal buy-‐in is key • Signage (double it) • Sound, light, and video quality • Test test test – before, during, aNer install, • Requires ongoing tweaks • Have a 4mer (we have 30 seconds, considering 45)
• Use whitelist monitoring (only approved videos shown online)
