BMW's Xdrive Xlife was a really extreme event, and it took place in the beautiful scenery of Hacienda Lo Varas on the way to Farellones.

In the Hacienda Lo Varas, towards Farallones we enjoyed a really extreme event surrounded by

beautiful scenery. It was an ideal day to experience what BMW calls

Xdrive Xlife.

In a circuit especially prepared and managed by North American professional pilots, who showed us how to drive safely these vehicles through difficult paths, they pointed out that these are not jeeps, but rather an SUV that will take us off road with no problems.We tested the BMW X5 35i and the X3 20d, and we were surprised by the high performance of the x3.

Although there were moments in which the vehicles encountered some trouble in the mud and the steep hillsides, thanks to the experience of the pilots and the outstanding performance of the MAXXIS tires, they overcame all difficulties, performing more efficiently than a simple vehicle.

The XDrive traction technology is an intelligent traction system. This system establishes traction capacity and agility. The XDrive allows a variable and stable distribution of the forces that are transmitted to the two axes.

The vehicles that we tested performed very well in all types of conditions. If you are thinking about getting one of these vehicles as a family car, it is an excellent option, but if it you are looking for a wild adventure, we recommend you take lessons on off road handling, get some good tires (MAXXIS behaved incredible), check the pressure and you are ready to go.
