The entrance

The school is named after Felice Matteucci.

Matteucci was an inventor.In 1864 he invented the firstcar engine.

The school walls are yellow, the doors and windows are blue and white.The school is quite old! It was built in the 1930s . It has got large high rooms and big windows; it has also got a gym and a courtyard. In front of the school is a public garden.

The Matteucci School is in the centre of Campi Bisenzio.Our school has got 6 sections (18 classes). Students are 11 to 13 years old.School starts at 8,10 a.m. and finishes at 2,10 p.m. We have two breaks: the first from 10,05 to 10,15 and the second from 12,05 to 12,15.

At school we study 12 subjects :

music, religious education, history, maths, italian,

geography, english, technology, german, P.E., art.
