• Franchising is the practice of using another firm's successful business model.

Servitization

• Products today have a higher service component than in previous decades. In the management literature this is referred to as the servitization of products. Virtually every product today has a service component to it.

Digital Age

• The Information Age (also known as the Computer Age, Digital Age, or New Media Age) is a period in human history characterized by the shift from traditional industry that the industrial revolution brought through industrialization, to an economy based on the information computerization.

Export

• In national accounts "exports" consist of transactions in goods and services (sales, barter, gifts or grants) from residents to non-residents. Amazon and eBay have largely bypassed the involvement of Customs in many countries because of the low individual values of these trades.

Immigration

• Immigration is the movement of people into another country or region to which they are not native in order to settle there.[
