II. STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

The local government of Quezon City is opening a bid for a project which is a proposed

construction of a pedestrian underpass located on Quezon Memorial Circle Promenade Area

and Main Entrances at Brgy. Vasra, Quezon City. The contractor may be any individual, form,

corporation, partnership or association who, by agreement with the local government of

Quezon City, will furnish the materials and/or labor, tool, equipment, plant and other

facilities needed for the completion of the project subject to the accompanying plans and

working drawings. Before submitting a bid, the contractor should first carefully examine the

premises in order to have full knowledge of conditions existing therein.

Since this is a project which would require closing down certain areas and roadways, the

project would entail inconveniences before its completion. That being the case, the local

government of Quezon City aims to find the contractor which would be able to meet all the

qualifications and requirements while being able to provide the fastest and most efficient

time frame for the project’s completion. The Contractor shall prepare and submit a

comprehensive work schedule covering the entire duration of the construction, including

the estimated number of days within which the project shall be finished.
