Lieutenant Governor to visit London, Ontario Toronto, March 27, 2015. The Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will travel to London, Ontario, to take part in several events on Monday, March 30, 2015. Her Honour said: “I look forward to meeting with residents and community representatives and to having a wide-ranging discussion about Ontario in the World. Through this dialogue, I hope to learn about Londoners and their aspirations for a sustainable community.”

9:30 a.m. – Civic reception Following a courtesy call with Mr. Matt Brown, Mayor of London, the Lieutenant Governor will bring greetings to city councillors and community representatives during a reception at City Hall. Closed to media 1:15 p.m. – Launch of Spirit Horse Her Honour will briefly address the launch of Spirit Horse, a play that challenges cultural stereotypes about Aboriginal peoples and confronts racism. The production will tour elementary schools in 75 communities across southern Ontario.
