Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will travel to London, Ontario, to take part in several events on Monday, March 30, 2015. Her Honour said: “I look forward to meeting with residents and community representatives and to having a wide-ranging discussion about Ontario in the World. Through this dialogue, I hope to learn about Londoners and their aspirations for a sustainable community.”

9:30 a.m. – Civic reception Following a courtesy call with Mr. Matt Brown, Mayor of London, the Lieutenant Governor will bring greetings to city councillors and community representatives during a reception at City Hall. Closed to media 1:15 p.m. – Launch of Spirit Horse Her Honour will briefly address the launch of Spirit Horse, a play that challenges cultural stereotypes about Aboriginal peoples and confronts racism. The production will tour elementary schools in 75 communities across southern Ontario.
