Brenda Sumberg, Director of Motorola University, said, “It is important to determine who is driving the quality process in your organization. … While there may be people identified as facilitators of the process, the whole organization- from top to bottom- must be involved and actively behave in ways that prove support.”

Crooked Creek RV Park & Marina-Assistant Manager-Help hire temporary and full time staff.-Trained park and marina employees without being properly trained myself -May 9, 2008 Clemson Grad-Dealing with the public appeals to me, which is why the HRD program is intriguing.

-Crooked Creek offers very little initial training when being hired. It is just enough to get through daily functions.

-There are many different opportunities to train and develop employees in each of the three departments, but the owner doesn’t care.

-OfficeThe specialty training the office clerks would receive would be online training classes for the reservation, filing, and book keeping software.

-more organized, more efficient daily functioning

-Grounds & MaintenanceThis group would take small engine repair and the E-Z-GO golf cart repair classes.

-save money on golf cart and equipment repair

-MarinaThese employees would attend Department of Natural Resources sanctioned classes that teach fishing trends and laws, boating rules, and upstate lakes information.

-more sales due to lake and fishing knowledge

-Overall, the most important is that repeat business will increase along with the positive word of mouth marketing.
