There are additional pages at the back of this booklet if you run out of space. *I declare that I had no prior knowledge of the questions in this assessment and that I will not divulge to any person any information about the questions.
The actual Level 2 assessment will be 2 hours. There is no imposed time limit for this sample assessment, as it is intended as a teaching/learning tool to help prepare candidates for the actual Level 2 assessment. It is the intention that this sample paper reflects the requirements of a live Level 2 assessment. However, it is recommended that learners are allowed as much time as necessary to complete the whole assessment so that they can experience all three tasks.

(2 marks) 2C Food vans will go along the side of the food zone in spaces called pitches. Each pitch needs to be longer than a food van as shown in the diagram. Not to scale You need to work out the length of a pitch. Use this formula to work out the minimum length of a pitch. Round your answer up to the next whole metre to give the length to use for a pitch.

3F Your company uses money-off vouchers to promote new products. Your manager needs to make decisions about how to spend the advertising budget for money-off vouchers for the new soap. The marketing department gives you this chart showing how many vouchers customers used in previous promotions.
The graph shows the number of vouchers used in the last eight promotions. Promotion 9 will be for the new soap. Extend the trend lines for the different types of voucher. Use your trend lines to predict how many paper vouchers will be used and how many online vouchers will be used in Promotion 9.
