Arrival late morning in Rovinj. Located on the shores of the peninsula of Istria, the town of Rovinj is clamped on a rocky islet and is one of the �nest examples of the Venetian heritage. Fell under the power of the Serenissima in 1283, all in Rovinj recalls its brilliant past. You'll have time to stroll through the narrow alleys of the city leading to the church of St. Euphemia which square commands a unique perspective on the whole city and the sea that surrounds it. Departure to Zadar at night. (B, L, D)
Arrival in early morning in the port of Zadar. Guided visit of the old town (Optional tour), the tour is starting at the “National Square”, the nerve center of the city in Renaissance style. Then visit of the Cathedral of St. Anastasia (Sveta Stosija), Byzantine church rebuilt in Romanesque style in the early thirteenth century with its imposing facade in Pisan style. Visit of the Church St. Donat, a monument built in the Carolingian style. The tour ends with a stroll along the forti�cations built mainly in the sixteenth century to face the Ottoman threat. Sail at daybreak in the magni�cent Bay of Kotor, the largest �ord of the Mediterranean. After rounding the Cape Koliba, the Royal Clipper will engage in the Bay of Topla, go by the shores of Herceg Novi, and then take the channel Kumbor and cross the Bay of Tivat from which we perceive the islets Otok and Prevlaka which are sheltering beautiful small monasteries. Then slowly, the Royal Clipper will take the channel of Verige, leading to the Bay of Kotor, surrounded by the mountains of Montenegro. Finally, the ship will reach the port of Kotor early in the morning. Day free or participate in optional excursions.
