DESCRIPTION

I have set out to understand what constitutes the legibility, or illegibility, of King's Cross, an important urban node of London, from the standpoint of Lynch's mental mapping theory. My proposal is to equate the 'mental map' to 'form', in the Aurelian sense, to try to understand why King's Cross seems to have become increasingly difficult to navigate.
