AWARDSWhat Kind Of Awards Can Be Earned?

• The very first award is the Truthbook. A child receives this after completing their Kids 4 Truth Entrance Exam.

What Can Kids Earn?Patch Awards

• Children can earn up to 5 award patches per theme• Children place these patches on their “standard.” Each

standard is colored respective to the child’s Level. • Each theme takes between 1.5 – 2 months to complete,

so realistically a child may earn an award about every other week!

• There are additional non-patch awards like stickers, signatures, and end-of-year awards too.

• Feel free to be creative for your unique setting! • Awards help establish what is important. • “You get what you honor.”

The Theme Awards

The Theme Awards are the same for every Level.

These awards help classify the following awards, and clarify for what theme the child earned each following award.

Award Patches #1-3 are color-coded to match the area in the Truthbook where the child is working. The background color of the patch they earn matches the area theme patch for that area. For example the child who earns awards 2 & 3 for the Bible would receive patches with a gold background

How Do Kids Earn Awards?Award Scenarios

• There are 2 different award scenarios to choose from.

• One is the “regular” scenario, and the tougher scenario is called the “challenge.”

• We’ll look at the Defenders Level award cards in order to understand how children earn their award patches.
