Research

Pipeline is a fairly fascinating object among most line-based structure designs. It can be applied to all sorts of fields, from natural resources like water, natural gas, and petroleum lines to human transportation networks. For instance, the complex designed of multi-product pipelines in factories can be seen in our everyday life. Abstractly, the concept of pipeline can also be considered as the connection between Humans and the natural.I inspired by all the elements of continuousness, transformation, and interconnection of pipeline. They are the sources of my inspiration for the collection.The groups of pictures show the complex geometric images. In other words, the sets of pictures of pipelines have the characteristics of parallel, vertical and distortion. In order to show the natural characteristics of pipelines, I decided to use the concept of line composition that mixes with crisscross line. In addition, I choose stripe fabric and pvc tubes as my main materials to illustrate lines rhyme. This can also be seen as the perfect combination between 2D and 3D.

The Concept:Mario has grown up! I want to design the both mature and sexy collections of Mario, different from the stereotype of outgoing and naive Mario, to invoke the feeling of all girls eager to grow up without losing pure hearts.

2009.Triumph Inspiration Award - Icon

Concept: My creative piece is inspired by Hundred-Pace Snake. In ancient myths, the Hundred-Pace Snake is the god who protects the people of the Paiwan tribe, one of the aboriginal tribes in south Taiwan. Paiwan tribesmen use the Snake as their totem. They carve and paint images of the Snake onto their houses and weapons, as well as onto various kinds of utensils, such as spoons and pots. Paiwan tribesmen have a well-developed carving art, shown in their Hundred-Pace Snake totem. Things carved or painted with the images of the Snake are considered to be holy. The Snake has become the holy totem of Paiwan. I adopted the Snake totem for my lingerie design. Just like the holy image of the Snake for Paiwan, lingerie is designed to protect a woman’s body, that’s why I adopted the Snake totem for my creative concept.

First add the shapes of snake tails onto the original cup pattern and find the perfect proportion.

Then, draw the contour of the head on the extended pattern.Handmade embroidery is employed on the sides.Iron hard linings in the middle to fix the form.

Decorative rhombus checks are made

The inspiration comes from beautifully moving both magnificent and the noble poppy flower, love resembles the opium poppy to let the human confuse beautifully,also therefore the poppy flower has a colored language:Magnificent,noble.Although she is the flower bud which is in bud, but could not close her gorgeously, the enchanting natural disposition opium poppy can tie after the coal dust is full of the venom the fruit
