Here is your step by step process to setting up your ad so it blends into your overall marketing picture

1Your ads should be part of your editorial calendar.

What do you want?- Clicks to your website?- Likes to your page?

- Sign- up for a webinar?- Their email address for your newsletter?

*Each goal has a specific kind of ad associated with it and early in the set up process you will need to let Facebook know what you are doing.

3Your Landing Page

- Is the ad directly related to the copy- Is a page on your website specifically designed to

handle those coming in from your ad?-Do your picture copy and landing page all blend?

What do you want?What are you willing to spend?

How much does it cost?

Demographics

Are you only allowed to operate in a certain radius?

- Make sure you go into the Ad Manager and clearly target that area.

6Ad picture and copy

Picture inclusions are limited-Only 20% of your image can be text

This gets tricky when making your logo visibleGET CREATIVE!

7Monitoring

- Place your ads- Check them 3-6 hours after they start- Check them 24 hours after they start

- Let them sit for at least 3 days (preferably a week) to take hold in the Facebook system.
