Wrote a thesis on the feasibility of harvesting low grade heat from underground metros for use in commercial buildings or on inner city infrastructure. The feasibility study set out to prove whether the appropriate conditions were present to deliver warm air to the surface which could be used for de-icing runways or pre-heating water.
