Organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show 2013(MWCS), Industrial Automation Show 2013(IAS) and Energy Show 2013(ES), three themed shows under China International Industry Fair (CIIF), rounded off on 9 November. This year, the 5-day exhibition continued its expansion with more exhibitors, debuts and innovative services, receiving 117,826 visitors and buyers.
IAS 2013 gathered 503 top-level enterprises to compete in the display area of 35,000sqm. ABB, Siemens and Schneider Electric, three big global industry players all attended; Mitsubishi Electric, Phoenix, Delta, Bosch Rexroth, Turck, Beckhoff, Lenze, B & R, SANYO DENKI, Advantech and other leading companies were also presented in the corresponding areas. Intel, the world's biggest maker of computer chips, attended IAS for their first time. The German pavilion and International pavilion also came with their internationally leading technologies, products and solutions.
The three halls (W1-W3) were divided into specialized display areas to demonstrate latest products and technology in integrated solution, transducers, embedded system, sensors, connectors, servo motors, electric system, etc. Several press conferences for new products, and business forums were held concurrently to fully manifest the industry. What's more, Functional Safety and Energy Efficiency Conference was for the first time introduced into Chinese market, inviting professionals from end users, exhibitors, government agencies and academic institutions to present their technology, service and energy saving solutions, which was highly applauded. After decades of development, IAS has been the most influential exhibition brand in Asia.

Phoenix Contact (China) Co., Ltd.IAS is one of the most professional exhibitions in Industrial Automation in Asia, due to its many years of success, providing a wonderful platform where we can communicate, share information, and get to know each other. Phoenix is absolutely a “close friend” to IAS. We have attended this show for many years. Compared with IAS 2012, IAS 2013 developed a substantial growth in total visitors’ number. Meanwhile, most of visitors are professional buyers. With the help of HMFS, we are expecting a bigger display area in IAS 2014.
Weidmüller Interface (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd.Compared with IAS 2012, both quality and quantity of visitors during IAS 2013 have been improved significantly. During the show, we met some of our potential customers, and we achieved pretty good results. Besides, the organizer of the show, HMFS, has strong ability to coordinate and execute, which helped us a lot in booth constructing and moving-out.
Beckhoff ChinaBeckhoff participates at IAS since 2005. We consider it as the best automation show in China, widely viewed as a barometer of Chinese industrial development. We are satisfied with everything at IAS 2013, the topic, the visitors’ number, the delegations and other supporting service, everything is amazing! We really appreciate that HMFS provides such a platform for us to show our products. Best wish to IAS.
Stäubli (Hangzhou) Mechatronic Co., Ltd.Stäubli attends IAS almost every year, and each time we display our latest products and solutions. IAS is an extraordinary place where system integrators can exchange information with their end-user, which helps us understand what our customers need. We can provide more innovative solutions for them. At the same time, it is a good chance to examine our products thoroughly and take some advice from our clients. In that case, we could improve the quality of our products and service, and provide our clients with more cost-effective products.
