If I ever wonder if I am really saved, I can open this little book and remember this
special day when Jesus came into my life to stay.

The Bible says, “As many as received
Him, to them He gave the right to become
children of God, even to those who believe
in His name.” John 1:12NASB®
Why do you need
to be baptized?
• To be obedient to God—the Bible tells you to be baptized.
• To show others that you have given your life to Jesus
• To encourage others to want to follow Jesus, too
“Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded
you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the
end of the age.” Matthew 28:19–20NASB®
Do you know?
How do you become a Christian?
Is it the same as getting saved?
The Bible has all the answers.
What is a Christian?
?? ?
The Bible tells many important things about
God and about ourselves. First of all, the
Bible tells you that God loves you. “In this
is love, not that we loved God but that He
loved us...” 1 John 4:10NASB®
God wants you to be His child, but something separates you from God.
Do you know what it is?
YOU GOD
Jesus said, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” John 14:15NASB®
Some of His commands are:
• Be baptized.
• Read your Bible daily.
• Pray continually.
• Tell others what Jesus has done for you.
• Attend a Christ-centered church regularly.
?? ?
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John1:9NASB®
Jesus says, “I will never desert you, nor will
I ever forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5NASB®
What happens whenyou sin now?
Do you have to pray to get saved all over again?
NO!
When you ask Jesus to come into your life,
He comes in to stay forever. When you
sin—when you do something wrong—
remember to talk to God about it and ask
Him to forgive you.
Sin separates you from God. What is sin?
Sin is doing what you want to do instead of
what God wants you to do. We sin when
we disobey God.
Sin is choosing to do wrong.
The Bible says, “To one who knows the
right thing to do and does not do it, to him it
is sin.” James 4:17NASB®
The Bible says it is sin.
YOU GODSIN
Who has sinned?
You and I and everyone!
The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23NASB®
We cannot do anything to remove this sin.
We have a sin problem. Only God can
help us.
Who has sinned? Now you can be sure that...• Your sins are forgiven!
• You are a Christian. A Christian is a follower of Jesus.
• You are part of the family of God.
• You are a child of God. Jesus will always be with you.
• You will go to Heaven someday!
“Thanks be to God, who gives us the
victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:57NASB®
?? ?“Dear God, I know that I have sinned and that my sin comes
between You and me. I am sorry for my sin. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me so that my sin will be forgiven. Lord Jesus, please forgive me for all the sins I have done and for all the sins I will do.
Come into my life. I want you to be my Lord and my Master. I will obey You and live for You for the rest of my life. Thank you, Jesus, for coming into my life. I know you’ll be with me
forever. Jesus, I love you. Amen.”
Would you like to pray and give your life to Jesus?
Jesus is the only way to God.
Jesus lived a perfect life. He died on the
cross to take the punishment for our sins. He
was buried and, three days later, rose from
the dead. He has prepared a place for us in
Heaven. Jesus offers Heaven as a free gift.
“For the wages (payment) of sin is death,
but the free gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23NASB®
The Bible says, “For God so loved the
world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not
perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16NASB®
?? ?WHAT DID GOD DO?
How do you receive
the gift of salvation?
ADMIT THAT YOU ARE A SINNER.Admit that you do things that are wrong. Sin separates you from God.
REPENT OF SIN. Repent means to be sorry for the wrong things you have done. It means that you want to stop doing things your way and want to live for Jesus.
BELIEVE IN JESUS. Believe that Jesus is God’s Son, who died on the cross to take the punishment for your sin. Trust Him to be able to do this for you, to take care of you now, and to take you to Heaven someday.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23NASB®
Jesus said, “I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:32NASB®
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16NASB®
Receive Jesus into your life by praying and asking Him to be your Lord and your Master.
Prayer is talking to God. He’s always listening.
The Bible says, “If you confess with your mouth
Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9NASB®
“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved...”
Acts 16:31NASB®
