“When I came to Jesus I gave up my sin but I also gave up my
life. He gave me a new life - eternal life that would extend
beyond this carcass.”
“What we get in this life is a gift from God – and the main
purpose of this life is to discover that gift.”John Wimber
Mark 16:9-15
Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared
first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven
demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with Him, as
they mourned and wept. 11 And when they heard that He was alive
and had been seen by her, they did not believe. 12 After that, He
appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went
into the country. 13 And they went and told it to the rest, but they
did not believe them either. 14 Later He appeared to the eleven as
they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness
of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him
after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature.
Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come
upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and
in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Judges 6:11-15
Now the Angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth tree
which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his
son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the
Midianites. 12 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, “The
LORD is with you, you mighty man of valour!” 13 Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then
has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our
fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from
Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the
hands of the Midianites.”
Judges 6:11-15…cont.14 Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours,
and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not
sent you?” 15 So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my
clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s
house.” 16 And the LORD said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall
defeat the Midianites as one man.”

"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never — in nothing, great or small, large or petty — never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense.“ Winston Churchill
Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of
enthusiasm.
If you're going through hell, keep going.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for
something, sometime in your life.
Amos 7:10-15
Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel,
saying, “Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of
Israel. The land is not able to bear all his words. 11 For thus Amos has
said: ‘Jeroboam shall die by the sword, And Israel shall surely be
led away captive From their own land.’” 12 Then Amaziah said to Amos: “ Go, you seer! Flee to the land of
Judah. There eat bread, And there prophesy. 13 But never again
prophesy at Bethel, For it is the king’s sanctuary, And it is the royal
residence.” 14 Then Amos answered, and said to Amaziah: “ I was no
prophet, Nor was I a son of a prophet, But I was a
sheepbreeder And a tender of sycamore fruit. 15 Then the LORD took
me as I followed the flock, And the LORD said to me, ‘ Go, prophesy
to My people Israel.’
Mark 16:15
He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good
news to all creation.
Rom 10:14
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed
in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have
not heard? And how can they hear without someone
preaching to them?
Mark 5:1-19
Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the
Gadarenes.2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately
there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 who
had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not
even with chains, 4 because he had often been bound with shackles
and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the
shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. 5 And
always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs,
crying out and cutting himself with stones. 6 When he saw Jesus
from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. 7 And he cried out with a loud
voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most
High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”
Mark 5:1-19…cont. 8 For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” 9 Then
He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying,
“My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 Also he begged Him
earnestly that He would not send them out of the country. 11 Now a
large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. 12 So all
the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may
enter them.” 13 And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the
unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about
two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into
the sea, and drowned in the sea. 14 So those who fed the swine fled,
and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to
see what it was that had happened.
Mark 5:1-19…cont. 15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-
possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right
mind. And they were afraid. 16 And those who saw it told them how
it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the
swine. 17 Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their
region. 18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-
possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. 19 However, Jesus
did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and
tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He
has had compassion on you.”
ACTS 29WE ARE THE NEXT CHAPTER
Acts 28:30-31
Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received
all who came to him, 31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the
things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one
forbidding him.
