Purpose of this presentation

• Some students often find it difficult to transition from elementary school to middle school.

• The goal of this presentation is to prepare students for the upcoming challenges they may face in middle school.

Tip #1 Be Prepared

• Have all the supplies ready that you need because if you don’t you will get a conduct log signature.

Tip #2: Eat a healthy breakfast

• There are no snack times. You may have 2nd lunch.

#3Use Your Time Wisely

• Do not use time to socialize in the hall.

• Get the things you need from your locker.

• Use the restroom.• Get to class.

Tips #4 Learn computer skills

• In middle school you are required to type papers and create presentation. Learn to use Microsoft Word and Power Point

Real Middle School

Tip #5 Do not fall behind

• Don’t procrastinate. You will have more assignments and more projects this year. Do not wait to the last minute, because you will get overwhelmed.
