How to Create a Power Point Presentation

Creating and Editing Slides

To add a new slide go to Insert.To move to an existing slide

Hit the double down arrow for the next Hit the double up arrow for the

previousTo edit a slide, just click on the area

and make changes

To Add a Pattern

Click on FormatSelect Apply DesignSelect a Pattern and ApplyYou may apply to one slide only or to

allYou can change the design as many

times as you like

Page Layout

Automatic formats are available when you select Insert a New Slide

Images can be imported You can also change the layout by

going to Format and selecting Slide Layout

To Add Color to Your Slide

Select FormatSelect Slide Color SchemePick either a standard color scheme

or customize your ownYou can change as many times as

you like and apply to one slide or all

To Change Your Background

Select FormatSelect Background and pick a colorApply it

To Insert a Picture

Select the Page Layout that allows pictures

Add your text in the Text Box

Double Click the Image to add a picture

Sizing and Placing the Picture

Click on the pictureUse the outline

boxes to size and move the picture

The top and bottom boxes change the length

The middle boxes change the width

Changing the Text

Highlight the textSelect FormatSelect FontSelect Your Font type, style and sizeSay OK

To Insert a Chart

Select a Page Layout that allows

Insert the chart data in the sample worksheet

Close the worksheet 0
