SCHOOL PROGRAMMING

• Sept.-Oct. High School Voter Registration Challenge; campus tour for home-school students; student government elections

• Oct.-Nov. Art for Democracy art contest

• Jan.-April High school career fairs; prom court elections

• March-May Sunshine State Young Readers Awards elections; student government elections

Additional mock elections and presentations take place throughout the year

• 2019 = Sixth Annual Challenge

• 72 School visits

• 4,947 Voter registrations/pre-registrations received

• ~16,000 Interactions with students

• Challenge takes place Sept.-Oct. usually in time for Constitution Week and National Voter Registration Day

• Offer program as in-class room presentation, assembly setting or table set-up

• Collect Voter Registration Applications

• School providing most applications wins challenge

• Gulf Coast High School wins with 273 voter registration applications
