The work, created in Thailand with the help of four monks and an assistant, is part of myartistic research project Portrait as Dialogue.

Based on their expertise and my horoscope, four monks selected a tattoo design for me. While the protective signs are usuallycarved into human skin, I asked to have the tattoo selected for me drawn on skin-colored leather vests that I had specially madefor this purpose. As with all Portrait as Dialogue works, the assessments and classifications of my person are contrasted withthe photo portraits of the project participants.
