PROGRAM UPDATE

FEEDBACK AND RECOMMENDATIONS:• Excellent recent parent night – wonderful turn out –

congratulations to the entire team

• Thank you to the school for hosting the recent HOL cluster meeting for other artisan-teachers

• It is obvious that Peter and Samantha have an excellent relationship with the students and have quickly developed an excellent rapport with the new students

• Lots of varied and interesting projects on offer for the students

• We recommend working on getting a greater balance of girls and boys

• Good use of Focus Plans – variation and relevance is evident

• We recommend that the Focus Plans are communicated back to the classroom teachers. Discussions around how this can happen are currently taking place with Year Level Coordinators

• Despite some complex behaviours and challenging group dynamics, Peter and Samantha are considered and consistent in their approach and strategies they use with the students

• The Student Tracker is being filled in extremely well. Samantha and Peter’s notes about the student and their behaviour has been excellent. Thank you for the student CCM surveys

• We recommend follow up with Teachers to get a larger quantity of surveys completed

• The HOL shed & precinct is clean, tidy and very well looked after

• The continued support from all the volunteers is highly valued

• We recommend that in collaboration with the Wellbeing team, Samantha and Peter make arrangements to speak about student intake at an upcoming staff meeting
