What you will learn…

An e-book or electronic book is a book published in an electronic format instead of being published on paper

E-books contain the same information as if the book was printed. This is considered a book source, not a web source.

You read an e-book digitally on your computer

What is an E-book?

To Search NetLibrary for E-books:

First click on the

red “Research

” box

To Search NetLibrary for E-books:

Next, click on

“Ebook”

To Search NetLibrary for E-books:

Finally, click on

“NETLIBRARY”

Accessing E-books from Home

If you are accessing e-books from off-

campus, you will be asked to login. This is

your ICC login and password. Please

contact the library if you have any

difficulties logging in.

This is the Entry Point and Search Page for NetLibrary

Enter your search in the search box

Your Results List Appears Like This:

Refine Your Results, If Needed.

Change the way the

results are sorted here

Look for related topics here

Re-do your search here

Look Through the Results List to Find an E-book That You are Interested in Viewing

Then, click on “View this

eBook”

Now You Are Viewing the E-Book

Navigate the e-book with these features.

Turn the pages or

go directly to a

specific page

Printing

Print a single page

Table of Contents

Use the Table of Contents to navigate from

chapter to chapter

Full-Text Searching

Use this search box to look for keywords in the

e-book

Finding Citation Information

Click on the “eContent

Details” tab to find citation information

Some Features Require a Free Account

Click on “Create a Free Account”

Log In or Create a New Account

Fill out the

online form to create a

new account

Log in here

Signed-In Features

You can now make and save notes
