Fulcrum is a dubai based solutions company that provides its clients with tailor made HR solutions on branding, recruitment and employment.

The logo design and concept is based on the brief provided by the client.

The concept used for the logo is based on the theory of fulcrum.

Fulcrum Def inition:the point against which a lever is placed to get a purchase, or on which it turns or is suppor ted.a thing that plays a central or essential role in an activity, event, or situation.

Baseeta

Baseeta is an organic food company. It sells food that mainly contains organic ingredients. As a brand, it believes in a healthier and a more natural way of living. This can be seen in its applications through the use of ear th tones and colors that best represent nature.

Baseeta is an arabic word meaning ‘simple’.

The logo and identity of Baseeta is a simple design incorporating ear th tones and colors that represent nature.

Naseej

An ar t museum based in Dubai, seeking to promote and preserve ar t. As a museum it shows/preserves a collection of ar tefacts. It also has an ar t gallery within it, which gives ar tists a chance to exhibit their work and a potential to have their work placed in the museum on a permanent basis meant for the documentation of ar t from the current time period.

As a museum it would display the cultural heritage through Islamic ar t and design. The main purpose of the museum as an ar t gallery is to be able to promote ar t and design among the youth of today and to preserve the culture and style of the current century. This does not include only f ine ar t but also digital ar t which could include illustrations, photography and video relating to the Islamic culture.

The Museum is called Naseej which means to ‘interweave’ in English.

The approach to this logo design is based on Arabic calligraphy since it is a dubai based ar t museum. The idea was to mix both English and Arabic keeping in mind not only the cultural diversity in the Middle East, but also to visualise the meaning of Naseej.

Truff lesTruff les is an organic food event branding. It aims at promoting organic food and farming among the citizens of U.A.E. It is a workshop that teaches people how to grow their own organic food and make the best use of their vegetables with a demo of a variety of recipes (Truff les, in this par ticular case).

The idea behind this is to make it an ongoing monthly event and thus each event would have a par ticular fruit or vegetable as the main component and for this event it is ‘Truff les’ !

The logo of truff les is inspired from the way the vegetable is grown. It is an underground vegetable and that is exactly what the logo por trays. The color used also is done keeping in mind the idea of it being organic and natural.

Avid

Avid is a project to answer the question, “Passion: why are you here?”.

I chose to design a magazine for this project that would bring passionate people together. The idea came from the thought that passion is varied for every individual and thus it would be great to be able to communicate this to a large group of people as well as inspire them.

The magazine mainly focuses on ar tists and designers within the region, who have great talent in their respective f ields. It is a way to educate as well as inspire people to continue pursuing their interests and keeping their passion alive.

Avid means to ‘have an eager desire for something’. This word best describes the idea of having passion for something and following your hear t to pursue the same. Designers and ar tists are always on the lookout for some great designs, Avid gives them just that!
